Pretty sure of seeing on Twitter Alisson back in training. Sooner than expected so that’s fantastic news. Jota also I believe is on the mend and nearing to readiness. Would be good to have Harvey Elliot back.
Need to be Ready for this game and treat it with Respect, like any.

As good a time as any to play Manchester City; 10 players out and many facing the challenge to be ready for Teatime Saturday at the Etihad.

Been quite busy this week so kinda picked up bits from online on Bentancur and having spent time now, just come across this which is fresh https://www.footballinsider247.com/heung-min-son-breaks-social-media-silence-after-devastating-tottenham-blow/
Relationship between both Bentancur and Son won’t be affected. Either it’s all sorted internally, or Son’s probably being the nice guy he is hasn’t taken offence to it. Spurs too are going to appeal to try and get the 7 game ban reduced and of course will need to with the number of players Spurs have on the sidelines.

More reports unravelled. It strikes me of clear 2 possibilities: so called friend fall-out or has gone down this path as a way of reaching out for help as Coote may have a problem with substances. Private life is one thing, but boy this is extreme when occupied in this profession. Priority now is health and wellbeing. No Refereeing any time soon.

14th November 2024 at 10:37 pm in reply to: International Euro Conference Not-So-Super Nations Challenge It’s A Knockout!!! #216488Super Delighted for England and an enjoyable match. I wasn’t aware of the permutations but the fact that England got the second much needed goal now puts us in poll position. The guys filling in for the regulars really stepped up tonight; well done Curtis on his debut 🙂 Carsley deserves the plaudits and hopefully bows out in style on Sunday for the perfect handover to TT.

Drugs-related? dot joining: money owed or else? Dunno but the speculation kinda adds up. Old footage, but has obviously landed him in a big spot of bother!

Gotta be careful what we say haha. Somebody on the Radio got told off for using the word Cheat. The broadcaster had to rightly put him right.

I think that’s footage Alfie from Lockdown, possibly 20-21 or 21-22 from what’s been spoken ala his reference to Lockdown.
Yeah, not sure why this has broken out and spilled now on public domain.
Naturally, fans etc will question his integrity from his judgement on past decisions involving him.

Also, one would question or at least have in minds 2019 and 2022.

I thought these claims including this footage would be refuted, but it’s reported, Coote has admitted to this.
There are stills of certain incidents from recent years involving Coote that has impacted either a player, the course of the game, and/or the result. One of which including Sadio Mane being onside against Brighton; the other being Virgil Van Dijk’s horrific injury.
Potentially, if not already, the integrity of the PL is shot to pieces.

Always goes back to ambitions of the club and fans and what realistically can be achieved. This is not yesterday, yesteryear, but now beyond 30 years.
What is acceptable and classed as a good season for Spurs? Top 6 finish? A good Cup run? Doing well in Europe?
5-1 lost 5 at this stage of the season…That type of Jekyll and Hyde form evidently will just place you more lower down the table. How long will Ange last is the question.

Pleasing the Inter break this month is 1 week only. I can live with that!

More points dropped. I would be happy being in City’s position.
19 points in Chelsea occupying 3rd to Villa who are 9th but sit on 18 points themselves. Pretty weird, but these teams are effectively neck-n-neck reflecting how competitive our league is.

I thought that was more than a quickly-taken free-kick that needed to be retaken, but instead, it’s been chalked off for Offside.
I was thinking too how focused so far Cucurella has been so far with his defending.

Ed, that’s the attitude to take and you would think for a United, a new chapter after a good Van Nistelrooy send off. I still believe to an extent, it’s early days, and there is plenty of time and matches for things to change.
No fixture can be taken for granted as we’ve seen today with Spurs-Ispwich and Forest-Newcastle.

And that’s why you can’t take your lead for granted. Those praises for Nuno, and he’s been given a taste of this own counter-attacking medicine.

That has turned on it’s head and to be fair, that’s been coming from the Magpies. 2-1!
