Hello Gents! 🙂
Went to the game and lol my point proved (not that I want the flaming point to be proved!), as Ultimately in my Team, I don’t see any Pushover.
Leicester were conscientious as much as they could stretch out to be. Luis Diaz is a Tireless and a Conscientious player himself that just keeps going and Super Credit to him. Alexis MacAllister really was the Best Player on the Pitch Today along with Gravenberch. Van Dijk and Konate have it under control as long as there is a Connor Bradley and A Left Back other than ‘usual suspects’
Guess what, Trent comes on and changes it.
Not the Best of games from an Entertainment POV, Never-the-less, we are 2 Points away from Title Number 20

Fingers kept crossed. Add to the lead or hold on to the existing lead.

Mikey F, just trying to figure out and answer your question/point.
Now that this has been beyond a month, I would make highlight these possible reasonings:
– timing
– ‘out of gas’
– restI would add possible aura of complacency and maybe not giving Newcastle as much respect as they deserve. Nothing to take from them, they deserve their triumph and as much heartbreak as it was.
Tonali returning this season has added value to their midfield and when they have a fully fit squad, they are on a different level. They should be challenging for Top 4 if not the league title next season if they can add layers to their first team from summer signings.

Make that 4! Puts things into perspective that side triumphed in the League Cup.

Palace destruction by the Magpies first half. Pen should have been converted really by Eze. I don’t know if that would have changed the complexion of the half, but still…..

Commiserations Villa and hold your head up high guys. You didn’t go out on the Whimper and it’s been a Journey. Still have a lot to play for this season and it’s definitely not over.

Possibly too little too late, but certainly a spark. You’d think though from the start on home soil with the press, there would be players inviting themselves to link up and show the desire and be just as ambitious as PSG.
Believe in themselves needed. Something for Unai to try and inject into them during Half-Time.

We know the feeling Villa. As much as it pains me though, PSG have been worthy Tonight.

PSG have actually just defined Villa’s problem with that goal.
Rashford has had a lot of the ball and space, but seemingly, he’s not tactically set to link up play by finding a target man. Equally in his defence, no runners in offering.
PSG made that look so easy. Need a couple of quick-fire goals in response otherwise this tie is as good as over.

Race for CL really wide open. Haven’t seen anything like this for a while.

I went sleep. Liverpool made heavy weather of their win, but it’s about getting over the line now. Couldn’t believe the Spurs score. Ipswich on a kind of a revival but too late.
They could make the league more interesting by adding an extra relegation place.

Weird, that last week felt miserable after Fulham beating us at the Cottage, yet it feels without even kicking a ball of being a little more filled with delight.
10 points clear with a game in hand and 7 left to play.

I know lots of people have placed Isak as Triple-Captain in their Fantasy Team, so who stands in for Onana? On paper, it would look like United would be in for a real hiding. Everton currently above United in the Table and Newcastle also chasing Champions League.

Double Gameweek for Newcastle with an extra game. A chance for the Gunners to reduce Liverpool’s 11 point lead to 8 with the Teatime kick off versus Brentford. Man City-Palace is worth a watch, defo as with Newcastle-Man United.
