It’s probably been said previously, but in my humble opinion United badly need a DMF to protect the back four it was easy for Spurs are there are far better teams than us in the league. I find it strange that it was only Spurs who wanted Højbjerg and why did Arsenal get a free run at Thomas Partey . Both of these players would have given the defence the protection they need.
Obviously the lads/ed on here watch more Utd games than me but with the Sancho money you would have massively improved the back 4 which is letting Utd down.
I sort of get why Cavani was brought in, but with Martial, Rashford, Greenwood, Fernandes, Pogba ( who needs a couple of lines of Whizz before kick off) you have a fantastic attack, it’s that iffy defence that will hold the team back, the money was there but a trick was missed, as I said this is only my opinion and not an attack on Utd.

Steveo, I felt sorry for Martial, they both deserved the same punishment, if Lamela had got a red I would have applauded the ref, use the feckin monitor !!! I’m well chuffed with this window, I can’t remember Levy buying a player that the manager actually wanted before, if we can get Bale and Lo Celso back to full fitness I’ll be a very happy old git !!

I blame West Ham they started it , that was probably the craziest day of top flight football I’ve ever seen , play those games again today and get 3 different results.

Had zero expectations for this game so going through was a bonus, Chelsea should have been out of sight such was their 1st half dominance. The 2nd half was better but even when we equalised I still thought Chelsea would get a winner, hated the penalties but naturally happy with the outcome. A word of praise for Eric Dier ,rather than celebrate with the Spurs players he went to a dejected Mason Mount and had a few words , nice touch Eric.

Look, you might all know about this; but I drove past it again today and I think @QPR renaming their entire stadium in honour of a 15 Year old London kid who died in a knife attack is pretty righteous and doesn’t get the recognition it deserves.

Nil, I thought that if the ball hits a hand in the box it’s handball, whether it’s accidental or deliberate, but that wasn’t the case yesterday and I am unsure why. There is obviously a ruling that I’ve either missed or don’t know about.

There is a class player in Pogba…… but I don’t think he particularly suits the PL , when he was in Italy he had time on the ball to hurt the opposition, he doesn’t get that time over here. He looks frustrated in games and for a big lad he goes down too often, if you lose the ball or go down you have got to get up and get it back, something I don’t see in him. I get frustrated watching him fuck knows what it’s like to be a United supporter watching him.
In VDB ,Pogba and Bruno F United have got a potent attacking MF add Rashford, Martial and Greenwood and that’s an exciting front 6 , the problem to me is who’s helping the back 4 out??
