Still think PSG suits him better. Always had the impression at Bayern that there can be a lot of politics about with powerful ex players connected with the club sniping about how the team should be playing and what current managers are doing wrong. We all know how Jose takes to criticism.

Don’t know about De Gea. He’s obviously still a very talented keeper. But he has made a notable series of gaffes in more recent times and on the biggest stages, be it the World Cup or Champions League. Still enough stock in the bank? For the moment, yes, but these errors are tarnishing his formidable reputation.

Interesting when quizzed by Carra about the timing of Solskjaer’s announcement as permanent manager (around the 2 min mark) Gary Neville said it was good in that it will now weed out the players not now performing. Sorry, but I think that’s desperately trying to put a positive spin on it. You’d rather all the team performed now, get to the top 4 next season, and then worry about doing the weeding out next season – Man Utd were going to spend big anyway. So if there are a few “weeds” left, you can live with that.
