Great goal.

They’re certainly winning the dark arts of the game this team. Don’t mind us being a bit more conservative as I’m wary of the heat.

Alisson probably our best player in the game Nil.

What timing…get in Bobby! Brilliant by Salah and Trent.

The one bright thing I’d say so far is that at least Keita is looking increasingly settled and positive.

Don’t think we’ll be turning this around. Look alright up top at times, less so at the back.

As I said, first priority for Arsenal is to bring someone in who can simply put a smile back on the players faces and get them enjoying things again. What you don’t want is another Emery – undoubtedly a clever manager but seemingly a poor man manager. The mood needs lifting dramatically. So even if Arteta is very clever, he still doesn’t strike me as the right man – you need someone with real charisma so that the players will be pulled in immediately to him and play for him – and want to play for him! So I worry that Arsenal are trying to be too clever about this and are trying to find a potential gem when they need more of an immediate impact to galvanise that dressing room.

Someone on Arsenal Fan TV – I want the proper one (Pep), I don’t want Arteta, not the one that puts the cones out…??
Seriously though, can only assume Arteta is highly thought of??

Agree with srd, I’d add that Ancelotti I think is quite charismatic and tends to be good at developing spirit in the side. Arsenal need that almost more than anything at the moment!

Arteta currently looking like the favourite now. Im assuming he’s well thought of given he’s not got any direct no.1 experience?

Atletico are like the Spanish Napoli, they’re a very rugged, awkward team. I don’t think anyone likes playing them. But time for Klopp to think about it.

I’ve thought for a long time that Arsenal’s biggest problem is a lack of togetherness in the squad. Their next manager needs to be as charismatic as possible to lift them all and bind them together.

Klopp signs new contract with Liverpool keeping him at the club until 2024…Wow.

Banjo, that sounds about right. If there’s one line I’m absolutely sick of hearing, it’s “lessons will be learned!”… you hear it nearly on a daily basis these days. Incompetence is rife now…

I would like to see “None of the below” listed on the ballot – if that “party” won the election, we would have to repeat the election until we found somebody suitable. That would be a much better solution in my opinion than proportional representation, which makes throwing out bad governments and politicians very difficult.

Spent some time near Falmouth and St. Mawes a few years ago, it is a beautiful part of the world.

Keita looking better Mak. Strong at driving forwards, can be a bit casual at the back at times. But now getting on the scoresheet. And just looks happier and more settled. And Klopp wouldn’t have played him in such an important game if he felt he wasn’t quite right.

Very professional tonight. Keita now 2 in 2 (who does look more settled and happier now). And another clean sheet. So far so good.

That’s typical Salah…miss the easy chances, create and score a worldie finish.
