I think recruitment will be the smallest of the sticks that will be used to beat Ten haag,if he persists with this midfield,and they continue to get over run.

Yeah ed/Alfie, you are right, there is a lot resting on your young new no.9. Balance in midfield not right and I think your fullbacks on either side are below standard for you too.

Its top 4 ally bud. While there are varying opinions on the balance and strength of the squad, given the investment and no European games, we should be amongst the top 4 in my opinion.
As for what would be a disaster, well I think it’s safe to say failure to qualify for champs league will have severe consequences but whether it would be disastrous or not I don’t know.
My feeling is that anything but top 4 is a failure.

League 2 club charging £10 per game for live stream. Didn’t know individual football league clubs could do this? Hell of an advantage for Wrexham with people all over the world subscribing.

Youngblue, there has been lots of articles explaining how chelsea are operating and Ed himself posted one earlier too. Only today I saw sky sports news highlighting all our sales and the 200m+ received. Many opposition fans on this site are being very objective about it all in my estimation too.

P.s, youngblue, Roman had already built chelsea in to an elite club before FFP and Roman championed FFP to protect his investment and chelsea’s new position.
It was to stop others like chelsea, but we got lucky to be the first and get all the owner cash injections before the club needed to have to account for all expenditure within its legit incomings.
We can’t play victim of FFP mate it is absurd. Everton is a prime example of a true victim of FFP.

Yeah Youngblue, Ed is obviously right on that point mate.
It’s clear why FFP is being brought up, it is hard for any of us to fathom how chelsea will balance it and how we will comply with FFP. I have faith we will comply and manage to balance it though as I assume Boehly is good at maths if nothing else.
He also self reported inconsistencies in the books under Roman. He knows what he is doing I hope 😆
