Ed,I don’t know why in some cases it applies but in others it doesn’t, but in the case of partey he does seem to have had legal protection preventing him being named in all major news media outlets.

Ed, that’s my feeling too, and it’s clear in the club statement too;
In a statement, the club said: “All those involved, including Mason, recognise the difficulties with him recommencing his career at Manchester United. It has therefore been mutually agreed that it would be most appropriate for him to do so away from Old Trafford, and we will now work with Mason to achieve that outcome.
The difficulties of course being public image of the club and as you say all the negative implications that would come with keeping him, like it’s affect on other players.
I think the club have clearly conducted a thorough investigation, but it does seem they were backed in to a corner based on it’s conclusions combined with public reaction.

“Very easy”, not sure about that Ed.
why are you so sure the club made the right decision?
Are you saying Greenwood should not be employed at all, or just not employed by your club?

Two things seem fairly certain;
1) Man utd, after 6 months of investigation, have found no grounds to terminate Greenwood’s contract.
2) The vast majority of utd fans would not accept he wear a utd shirt again.If those points are certain then I think utd haven’t really had a decision to make, they are doing the only thing they can, which is try to offload him as soon as possible.
Until he agrees terms elsewhere, utd are paying him.

What will happen now to Greenwood, given the club have said they have a duty of care towards him?
Kaveh Solhekol: What the club haven’t said, for instance, is that they were terminating his contract. He still has two years left on the deal he signed in 2021. He’s not being sacked, he’s still a Man Utd employee.
But they have decided mutually he’s not going to play for them again. Arnold makes the point at the end of his letter that he will help Greenwood to find a new club.

Lightning fast winger. He will hug right touchline for you like mahrez did. Will beat plenty of isolated fullbacks in one on ones.

Sterling looked 3 years younger yesterday to be fair to him.

Sean, Mudryk so far us the most disappointing of the young signings since Boehly took over. He has plenty of time to improve, as does 95% of our squad, but so far he doesn’t look to have the intelligence and technique to match his pace and dribbling.

I will be giving poch my full support banjo.
38 league games last year between Potter and lamps and neither knew their best 11.
With exception of James who of course is once again injured, we started both league games so far with same 11, and in all honesty, taking the results out of it, I think I am positive enough with the blueprint he is instilling.
It seems the 2nd half didn’t actually happen as we recall anyway, it was a mass hallucination, like the Mandela effect. Enzo missing the penalty created some kind of rift in the spacetime continuum. Scientists looking in to it.

Yeah nil Luton next, then AFC Wimbledon in league Cup, then home again to forest.
I will be at all 3 of these games and expect 3 bloody wins! 😆

Will be honest, was perfectly happy with first half but the second half left so much to be desired in the final third.
The front 3 that started did well, but as soon as we made changes, starting with Chukwuemeka injury, we dropped a lot in quality.
Was secretly hoping to just avoid defeat today going in to next couple of home games and hope it doesn’t knock the confidence of the younger lads too much.
Much to be done on training field and poch has the time to do it.
And after all, we won’t play the Europa conference league champions every week will we 😊

I can see why poch didn’t start caicedo! He not anywhere near match sharp and gave a sloppy ball away a few minutes before conceding that pen with late challenge 😳

Same line up as vs pool except for Gusto replacing James. Similar slow start too.

6 minutes for JWP to make his mark. Unlucky not to get a chance from prior corner too

Adlab, you don’t need justify anything bud. City are the hardest team to beat, and easiest team to lose to. Even Newcastle, who we rave about, turned up with the mentality of “this is one we are going to lose/excused to lose”. When you get the combination of teams who concede defeat before whistle blows and this city team that does no more than is required each game, it is inevitably boring as hell for the neutral.
There is nothing you can say that will make it less boring, but nothing I could say that could detract from how good your team is our how good a job pep is doing.

I’m bored shitless watching city now. Nothing against them, if it was chelsea I’d be buzzing, but as a neutral its just a bore fest.
Pep has got more defensive minded the longer he has been in England too. When city have the lead now you hardly ever see them break without 5 or 6 players staying back. They need to have the ball for ages before they commit more numbers.
All credit to pep he does what is best 👌
