Adlab, I don’t see it that way mate. imo media coverage of a club has pretty much always been directly proportional to the size of the fan base of a club. I have never been confused or upset that utd and pool generally get more coverage than chelsea because it makes sense.

Luton fans were great last night. Away fans in general are a special bunch any way as they follow their teams all over the country, but when you support such an underdog the away support is so crucial. If Luton go down, and I am 99% certain they will, the Luton fans can hold their heads high.

P.s, Hadn’t been to games for years until last season and I am very impressed by how civil home and away fans are around the stadium before and after games. Even when we were getting smashed by teams last year, and opposition fans were walking down Fulham Road giving it large, everyone is just so accepting of it. Give a thumbs up you get a smile, put out a fist you get a fist bump.

I have not seen one fight or even any commotion needing the police. The police just stand guard with their gorgeous horses and everyone feels safe.

I suppose its only later at night once more drinks are consumed that any trouble occurs?

Anyway, I was only planning on attending home games but from what I can see, you would most likely needing to be looking for a fight to find one. I think I will look at some away games over next few months.

That’s the worry I will have for next 2 or 3 years Ed.

Not sure how recent the projections are or whether they take in to account transfers this summer that actually from financial POV count towards the next year. Mounts 55m fee will be counted as incoming for 23/24 for example. And we have lewis Hall fee lined up too plus probably other sales.

We all know it’s very possible chelsea breach because we must be counting on generating a certain amount of money to avoid breach. I am sure if the assessments were done today chelsea would be in breach by a lot.

Exactly Ed, and I want to say in all honesty how much I sympathise with you as a fan. It hasn’t been talked about, but as well as possibly ruining his own career he denied you the player he could have been for you, and there is nothing wrong with being gutted about that from a selfish pov either. I would be bud.

It’s a damn shame, but nothing more utd or utd fans could have done to reach a better outcome

Banjo, there was no possibility of sweeping under the carpet and fans made it clear they weren’t having him. Completely different to partey case. The videos and audio on social media made it impossible to just say charges were dropped let’s move on.

They needed to investigate it thoroughly and I think they have, and I commend them for it. They would have thought about reintegration as a possible scenario but the backlash made it clear it wasn’t viable.

That’s a good point banjo, UEFA FFP should apply and while PSG still manage to meet criteria I very much doubt a Saudi club could.

Banjo, what were you expecting utd to do following the backlash to leaked “reintegration” documents?

As the statement said, reintegration carries too many difficulties, he has to leave utd.

I think utd did the right thing in investigating so thoroughly.
