Paul, haven’t a clue why you would think you are on your own in blaming boehly for chelseas failure this season, its bloody obvious it’s down to boehly and new ownership.

That we got even worse under lamps is a testament to how poor a manager he is but again boehly was the one who decided to downgrade our manager twice in one season.

Mikus, I agree mate, get us back in top 4 and looking like a team close to challenging, and then if he can’t make that final step, like he couldn’t at spurs, we make another change.

He will have a full pre season and plenty of time on training field next season each week without European competition. Clear minimum target of top 4 in first season.

BTW inter vs AC is a classic match based on their status but damn it’s a poor semi final. AC Milan lost twice to us under Potter I can’t believe they are in semi finals!

Yeah Sean did you see carvajal smash grealish in to boarding and then when grealish slapped his wrist away when carvajal was hovering over him carvajal fell to floor like he had been shot! It was really disgraceful behaviour and it would have wound me up royally. While I can’t defend Adlabs commentary I can empathise with the frustration at the root of it.

Adlab, it was a tough game to watch as a neutral being so tight and tactical. Real stalemate and not sure pep will want to go in to second leg with 50% chance of progression and setting up as both did it would be 50/50 in second leg. I think he will tinker for second leg trying to better the odds and wouldn’t be surprised to see haaland benched or some other surprise.

Very tight game that, so little in it and neither team really giving an inch.

City can be proud of that performance imo and I think they are favourites for the second leg. I can’t see either Inter or AC Milan beating either Real or City so I think City could be one good home game away from being overwhelming odds on favourites to get their first champs league.

Sean, can you imagine rolling a dice and getting a 6 first try? If so you can see pool finishing top 4 as the odds for that are shorter than rolling the 6 😆

Ed, utd were 5th fave’s for top four back in july. Look at it that way and 5th and league cup is decent.

Although 3 of the 4 teams more favoured to finish top 4 were chelsea, spurs and pool and so if you look at it that way it would be a big opportunity missed imo considering the various problems at the 3 clubs mentioned seemingly opening a clear path to top 4 for utd.

Before utd lost to Brighton, Liverpool were 7-1 against for top 4, tonight they are down to 3-1.

Pool on 62 with 9 points left to gain.
Utd on 63 points with 12 points left to gain.

From utd POV I think they have to presume Liverpool will get all 9 points and finish on 71. That means utd need to win 3 out of last 4 to be sure of top 4.

Who would bet on utd winning 3 of last 4 based on their form? Not me. Who would bet on pool winning all 3 of their games based on form? I would.

This could be interesting 🤔

Yeah exactly Ed if we had a few less points in the bag already I would be petrified, can easily see us going rest of the season without a win or even losing the last 5.

No logic applies anymore mate, the team is broken and the players have no confidence whatsoever. I don’t just mean they are nervous I really mean they have no belief at all that they are good enough individually or collectively and it’s evident in every touch and every decision they make.
