Nil, anyone who could afford it would prefer to pay to watch top quality broadcasts rather than stream, but the sad thing is every other country in this world can watch our prem league games on a saturday afternoon except us, thats why I got the firestick and I am glad I did because my first season with it was contes first season with us so I got to see every single game in a championship winning season live, it was fantastic. I would pay sky, bt or even the premier league directly £30/month if that allowed me to see every game live but it is not an option.
Surely with streaming now the prem league should just cut out the middle man and sell every game direct to the armchair fan? They could still show adverts like sky sports and bt and we could get to choose the games we want to pay for.

Just about value for the lead Nine I think, but Burnley giving it a good go as one would expect of them. Decent game. Luiz playing in back 4 so always possibility of a Burnley goal 🙂 To be fair to Luiz Arsenal look a different team in possession with him bringing ball out into midfield.

Ed, personally I wouldnt bother with the emoji bit, as a newbie here I really like the current format, if you like/agree with post can give a thumbs up, if you have anything to add you can reply and if you disagree you can reply and explain why. I think the current set up encourages debate and it would cheapen it to bring the facebook style emojis imo.

Mak, nil made me giggle with the champs league has gone comment. Chelsea have one and I cherish it and the lovely gold star that is on our badge in champs league games. Nil if you think those succeses are gone count the gold stars next time pool play CL, you’ll find they havent gone anywhere.

Yeah sean I agree re-kovacic. In todays market, especially with the transfer ban he was worth the 40m we paid on option to buy him, but I think as Ruben and mount establish themselves Kovacic will find himself back up to Jorginho, with Kante and one of Mount, Ruben or Barkley completing the midfield.
He is a good mid to have in a possession based team, can receive the ball well under pressure, beat his man and switch the play, but he is not defensively sound and is not a threat to goal either. Ruben and mount’s numbers as the games stack up will make it impossible for Kovacic to be a starter in a few months imo. I am happy we have him in squad though.

Nice to see so many familiar posters that I have missed on other site, and fellow blues like Pagan and chelsea.man who I do miss on the chelsea page, nice to see you all lads.
Hey Nine, can see why you post on here mate, the other site prob better for pure chelsea stuff but I’ll be coming to this general site for match days and midweek games no doubt.
Didnt even need to sign in again, and no ads in the middle of our posts! What a privilege.
