Your right Mak, Leicester lack of chances is simply because of pools ability to defend superbly as a collective. I don’t think they are able to get enough bodies forward to score now, if they do it will be from range or set piece, but as long as only 1-o they have a chance.

City and Pool fans are so nervy and sensitive this year I do find it kind of amusing. I think its because they are the only fans with real expectations of their teams and that the margins for error are so tight. A whole season of squeaky bum time for them both and I dont think its leading to the best of banter between pool and city fans to be fair, seems a little petty.

Mak, given how hard Leicester had to work to keep up with pool in the first half I can only see this getting harder for Leicester and Pool getting a few more late on.

Mak, he has stamped on his Achilles, his leg was nowhere near the ball, very careless imo and not a coming together of feet, it was the coming together of Trents studs and Tielemands achilles.

That looked painful on Tielemans for Trent, should have been a booking. Good pressure from Leicester

Cant see Leicester keeping this intensity up for 90 mins I think Pool will pull away in second half.

Looked a solid yellow at first Mak, I would have to see it again to see if it deserved worse.

Ndidi booked, for any team playing Leicester the sooner he is booked the better, pool close to scoring from the advantage the ref played too.

Dont know about any of the other Chelsea lads on here, but watching Spurs today reminded me a hell of a lot of Chelsea’s performances in Jose’s last season with us.
Quality players taking one or two more touches than necessary, moving the ball far more slowly than usual, lack of movement off the ball, lack of intensity in the press and most tellingly a dramatic reduction in the success of the players in one on one situations all over the park.
Really worrying for Spurs.
Looking forward to Liverpool V Leicester now, like Chelsea.man I want Pool to win only because Leicester are closer to direct rivals to us this year than Pool.

I think you can make an argument to switch to man to man easily based on the sheer number of set piece goals we are conceding. I mean what is the risk switching for a game or two?
Man to man may be just as problematic for us though. Beyond the centre backs and Alonso we are not the biggest of teams. For me its just as much about the players taking responsibility and learning from these mistakes. Zouma and Tomori who in general were excellent today need to be relied on to own the box at set pieces, Joe Cole was just talking about VVD in this way when discussing Chelsea’s zonal marking.
Maybe Lamps should give JT a call and ask him for advice on defensive set pieces π Like I said though I do think its decision making of the players on the field more than the set up either way imo

Was really hoping Conte could get a result and when I saw it was 1-0 I really fancied Inter to get a point at least. Havent seen the game but no doubt Inter would have made things extremely difficult for Barca and it is a very good turn around for them.
