God bless our late friend Paul, 999, the chelsea team talk site is now pretty much what I thought it would be without him. Even racist idiots feeling free to spout nonsense.
I only ever went there to chat chelsea with nine and 67 and haven’t really posted there since his passing. It’s such a shame but done with that site now, I know many of you have been for a while too.

Hi Sean, I’m good mate thank you hope you sound too.
It’s all up in the air mate, I could be pessimistic or optimistic but in either case will have no idea how we will be this season. We have definitely lost experience but at the same time I think will be much fitter and more tight knit this season.
We are certainly short in midfield. Wouldn’t stretch to 100m for caicedo but given today’s market and what we spent on Enzo, I understand Brighton holding out for that. If its a no go I wish it was realised early.
I’m always on glass half full side of things anyway and I think with improved team cohesion and with poch having plenty of time to coach due to lack of European football, I think we will be in with good chance of top 4.

I’m sure they will pump trillions in before they give up so they will have plenty of time to build fan base mikus. It will be far above anything MLS can do in terms of the number of top players it can bring in, seemingly in their primes too.
I think they will have a huge market in 10 years time mate. It’s almost inevitable.

Very likely to be sold to a streaming service such as amazon prime as nil mentions.
Millions already have prime and to us its effectively free in that case. I can imagine it having a fair amount of viewers worldwide considering the talent it is amassing.
Regards how this will affect the sustainability of the league as mikus mentions, well unless there are restrictions imposed on how much the clubs can spend relative to genuine income then its not about sustainability in the way we think about it. I don’t think we understand how much money they have to waste. I mean PSG put a player with 1 year remaining on contract up for sale and Saudi make opening offer of 300m 🤣 They not concerned by sustainability.

Struggling to get head around the mbappe offer.
It’s 300m euro offer to PSG and rumours that he will be offered 700m ONE YEAR deal and be allowed to join Real next summer.
Potentially one billion in total investment for one season.
Also confusing is why the first offer to PSG would be so high considering they want to sell.
And even more baffling is why spurs are still being linked with him despite all this 🤣

As we saw last season, a few of the top teams are shifting to a sort of 3223 shape when in possession with a box in midfield of 2 sitters with 2 number 10s ahead.
Looking at some of the purchases I think we will see more of it.
Mount and Bruno as double 10s at utd?
Szoboszlai and macallister at pool?
Havertz and odegard at Arsenal?

Ed, ten hag was a fan when mount was on loan at vitesse and he believes he has the right profile for his side.

Ed, totally back you on that, as much as utd spend they are restricted by owners who have purchased the club with the clubs own money and who are holding out for 5bn+ return on the lowest risk and investment you could ever see.
It’s criminal in my eyes that we allow our clubs to be used this way and I fully back all utd fans who want glazers out.
