Would be good to see Stevo but since he aint around I can’t hurt his feelings by saying How shit are arsenal? omg at least under wenger even at the end they could score goals, if emery was in charge spotlight would be on him but arteta is killing all creativity in that team. Well we were discussing whether spurs can win league, and while I think they have a chance pool are showing that they are the main reason it is odds against spurs, Chelsea or anyone else winning the title this year. Top class with a reduced eleven.

Regards Leicester, I thought the main benefit to a back 3 was to make it easier to play out from back which justifies the sacrificing a body further forward. If they were just gonna lump it forward to avoid the press why not play with a back four and have the extra body to compete for long ball? As long as the full backs didn’t bomb forward would be safer than the back 3 and at least give them a chance of creating something with maddison more central and two wingers either side. Leicester look awful when they play this 343.

Pagan, I don’t think that would be lost on Jose if true. The more I think about it he is the manager elite clubs desire, they all want instant success and will sack the coach to save face in a heart beat. I think Jose,s approach is calculated to maximise his returns in the time he will be allowed and to hell with the mid to long term. Dont blame him, if the clubs want different they should act differently, look what happens at clubs like pool when top managers are given time.

Pagan, thinking a little more about that, managers at elite level surely can’t have more than an average of 3 years at a job before getting sacked or moving on, its how much better he does than most in those 3 years that makes him truly special and truly great.

Sure must be very hard to play for him but same with fergie, difference is at utd the players knew fergie ruled and they would lose any attempt to undermine him, for Jose at Chelsea and utd that was never the case and the players could always get away with downing tools when they got tired of him.

Blaze I understand the criticism of utds performance but I think spurs beating City is fantastic for the game and was a great team performance, they beat a top team quite comfortably mate, I thought City were great first half

I think there has been a narrative constructed by fans and media regards Jose which while sometimes fair and true, ultimately doesn’t give him his due credit.

He is one of the greatest coaches of all time and I wouldn’t waste my time arguing that with anyone, would be like having to argue that Christiano Ronaldo is one of the greatest players of all time, its just a fact and people can pretend otherwise if they wish.

Truth is he needs hungry and altruistic players to reach the great standards he set with porto, Chelsea and inter. Give him a bunch of selfish overpaid and overhyped players with ego’s as big as him and it will only go one way.

As a chelsea fan I will have mixed feelings if he succeeds with spurs, but a part of me wants him to succeed because I can’t help but still have a soft spot for him.

The third season in second spell at Chelsea was an exception and not part if a 3 season pattern that is inevitable. The players let him down and his biggest fault was trusting them too much cesc and others have said that too. The way Jose behaved in response was totally unprofessional however and I resent it deeply.
