Pagan with werner in the side we should always be looking to get in behind as quick as possible and agree with that

However against low blocks it just ain’t on, and the benefit of this system is when it breaks down we are secure through the middle and concede very few chances on counter, sure saints had one on target yesterday but had 6 earlier this season when we played 433, I like the security it offers but again shouldn’t stop us playing more directly when it is on and even under lamps it was frustrating seeing werner make the run off shoulder but we never look for him soon enough.

Ziyech, pulisic, havertz, without one of these players stepping up and forcing themselves into starting 11 like mount has we will struggle, all of them are suited to play in one of the 10 positions and ultimately they need to deliver.

Don’t agree pagan mate, well I do as far as the attacking players are concerned but as a whole we are conceding far less chances and to be fair considering how shockingly bad our forward players have been I think tuchel done well to get the results we have.

Ideally mate we are a hell of a lot better in final third, but given we are not I am happy to see us play like we are as we don’t need many goals to win a game now.

I think he is simply steadying the ship at the moment and doing a decent job imo

Yeah mikus its true its the risk with such a tight squad, last 2 chelsea teams to win league with Jose and conte were with tight core of 13/14 players which creates great unity and chemistry, but lose a few players to injury or poor form and its a big drop very quickly

Hi mikus, I do think the front 3 needs refreshing, they are not as hungry as they were, jota really looked a necessary signing when he got started, so undortunate to lose him, and others, really difficult few months and pool never going to be as good without VVD in backline, especially when the midfield is destroyed trying to cover injuries to defenders

Not quite as bad as our defence of title when Jose got sack though so that’s one record you aint taking 🙂

Not trying to troll pool lads, been reading over the weeks and you have all taken the drop in form with grace and perspective, the standards achieved impossible to maintain over long periods, but wouldnt bet against klopp getting another run going next year with the right adjustments.

Personally I don’t think whether footie carries on behind closed doors or not that it will have any real effect on rate of transmissions nationally so for me its about whether cases amongst players, coaches and officials are below a certain level to maximise safety but if I can drive to McDonald’s and get a hamburger why can’t I turn on my TV and watch footie? The players union will look out for players.

Its not greed to try to prevent losing hundreds of millions of pounds in an industry rich with turnover but short on profit
