I thought city were on another level last night.
I said months ago chelsea to beat City in final, hope that still comes true but even if we get to final overcoming this city team at their best will be one hell of a challenge

Can see why chelsea and kane would want the move but what would it take for levy to sanction it?

Kane would be my first choice as unlikely as it is, even with his injury record his goalscoring and assists year on year just top class

Chelsea not getting haaland, I think both tammy and giroud are going, werner will stay and we will get another striker to compete Someone like belotti makes sense to me as 28, cheap as chips and scored a lot of goals in a mediocre seria a side that create few chances
He is not haaland but he would put away most of the chances werner misses
I have personally changed my view on the striker situation and don’t mind a short term fix now as long as top quality, ie aguero or benzema
Immobile of lazio a very good striker too

Ed, this is all down to a very small number of rich people who happen to own our clubs, those that created it need booting out. rules need to be changed to ensure owners can never act like this again, roman included.
But you know its the yanks at pool, utd and arsenal that were driving this and were last to pull out
But again it’s not the clubs it’s the owners.

Ed, if city and Chelsea were approached last week and told this was going ahead with or without them they may have rushed to agree through fear of being left behind
It may have only been the public reaction that gave them courage to back out
However I don’t believe that and the problem with us all being in the dark here is that it leads to endless conjecture and conspiracy theories
That this could be agreed at all without consulting fans is a disgrace that should never be forgotten and we need to take action to ensure this can never happen again
