I think young tyson beats young fury, but young tyson does not beat today’s fury, because when you have stared down the abyss, reached such lows and come back, aint nothing gonna scare you . This Fury would not have entered ring with legs trembling like berbick and spinks did and we have no idea to how young Mike would have handled that. I think it would have gone the way it went for Mike against buster Douglas honestly

Had all his early fights on tape as kid banjo, loved Iron mike and recognise the greatness of his early years, the head movement and ferocity of his hooks and uppercuts. I also agree the loss of cus was massive.

He was the most naturally gifted puncher in history of boxing imo, that he couldn’t extend his dominance past 24 for me is a testament that he was lacking many of the ingredients that made the truly great, well truly great.

It’s a case of what could have been with Mike where as Ali, Holmes, holyfield, Lewis and even fury have had the inner strength and greatness to overcome the adversity they encountered and get back to the top of the mountain.

And why is tyson protected and only judged on earlier years? The great ali came out of prison and was still great, Lewis beat vitali klitschko in his last fight at age of 38! Yet we can only judge Mike tyson on the fights he won pre Douglas? Ie his “prime” its bs imo its like saying you can only judge him on the fights he won, its myth, he was awesome but not as great as made out, holyfield, Lewis and fury all superior imo.

Yeah but unlike fury banjo, iron mike never rose to overcome adversity in a fight, every time he was truly tested he lost, not my words either the words of Teddy atlas. Iron mike was phenomenal but like wilder in a way, his opponents lost before they stepped in to the ring. Although wilder nowhere near Mike of course.

Fury was asked about this himself and said Mike would win KO 1st round but imo that was fury being ultra respectful to his name sake. If wilder couldn’t land enough on fury with his range I honestly think fury could survive the first few danger rounds then take Mike the distance and either knock him out late like the average Douglas did or win a decision.

Pulisic at his best makes us such a better team nine but the problem is if he is without injury for 15 games it takes him good 5-10 to get to that level then we see a handful of stellar performances before he is injured again and the cycle repeats. Not sure if we will ever be able to count on him which is such a shame but fingers crossed he gets a good run this time.

To be fair the only reason they probably won’t spend massive in January is because its January but this summer will be mental and I think net spend will be higher than 200m.

Sean, they could probably spend 200m in January bud FFP not applicable at the moment and when it is it is based over 3 year period and they in the black right now which gives plenty of time for creative accounting and inflated sponsorships.

Even if they get sanctioned will likely just be fines in short term like Man City and if banned from Europe Court of arbitration for sport already sided in cities favour on that one. I may be ignorant of a few things here so open to corrections.

Make no mistake bud, it’s a top 5 in very near future. Chelsea were already in top 4 when Roman bought them,City weren’t, but it makes no difference because money talks.
