Rover, backline not the issue for me even though we don’t have one first choice player in any of 3 positions. The issue for me is that we not creating chances at anywhere near a respectable rate for title challengers, especially in 352 and so one goal conceded and we in the doo doo.

Yeah I defo hope he stays nine he been a monster since tuchel came in and we wnt to back 3. It’s not just his brilliant defensive work either his long range passing and ability to run with ball through midfield is massive for us

We will see Nine, but if it was about playing for a top side he is at the champions of Europe already. Very few could offer more than we would imo. I think it is financial and he will go to the club that guarantees him more money and wouldnt rule out Newcastle for one minute 😀

The thing I wonder with rudiger is that he seems to have gone up quite a few levels since he was back in team and that’s mental rather than technical or physical. Is he playing out of his skin because of the contract situation and knowing he is fighting to get his last professional contract to be a big as possible? Will that hunger still be there once he gets what he wants?
We need to have some sort of wage structure at the club I would make him joint highest earner potentially to stay and if that’s not enough his agent I am sure will has the number for PSG or even Newcastle and he can go with my best regards and gratitude for his service.

I think AJ was most marketable and commercial. Perfect for British media, handsome and always following the script. Won at Olympics and perfect ambassador for British sport.
But there are levels to boxing and he never been elite, maybe never will. Part of his problem I think was believing the hype and he hasn’t been same since ruiz fight, some say since the klitschko fight.
I lost respect for him the moment he called Lennox lewis a clown for the crime of stating an opinion. He should have listened to Lennox.
