That still feels like a lone wolf mentality Lucky and if we all thought like that we would never see the end of it.

Passing a virus onto people you live with isn’t exactly news worthy Lucky. I didn’t say the vaccine stopped people from spreading it, I said it reduces their ability to do so, which it does. The article specifically states how the more jabs you have, your chance of spreading it reduces.

I don’t agree with them being mandated, but there isn’t a single credible argument for not getting it unless you have been specifically told by a trusted (by you) medical professional not to get it. So if they decide to ban unvaccinated from public transport, restaurants, night clubs, football matches then so be it. It’s a public insurance policy that some people are making the free choice not to buy into. Given we are still living in the pandemic, and not post pandemic, there has to be consequences for that.

In a nutshell, the reason we have lockdowns is to prevent our hospitals becoming overrun. Having the vaccine reduces your chance of becoming hospitalised significantly and even though it does not reduce your risk of infection it will reduce your ability to spread it due to lower viral load and you are also unlikely to be filling an ITU bed.

I think Rangnick is going to find he is short of midfielders that will be able to play the game he wants to play. United have a dangerous but top heavy squad imo, and he’s already pointed to balance being his priority. If he isn’t able to get any kind of bounce from the squad, then it’ll be a long winter for your lot Ed.

In fairness, his fellow countrymen have been nothing but complimentary.

I must admit, I did find it funny, the second Rangnick was a sure thing for Utd, he was being reported as some sort of footballing Sith Lord, who was the actual mastermind behind pressing football, with Klopp and Tuchel, nothing more than his proteges.

DAZN are a pretty new organisation. I can’t imagine the rates will hang around, it will be used purely to drum up business. Once they have enough subs. Up goes the price.

Really unfortunate for BC. Wish him all the best in his recovery. We will need him for the WC.

We certainly do need to find a way of controlling games better. The fragility does appear to be a consequence of finding our attacking mojo again, Klopp and Co need to find the balance and quickly. In Hindsight I’m thankful we didn’t lose yesterday, but it’s a game we really should have won, if that even makes sense.

30th October 2021 at 5:15 pm in reply to: Gameweek 10: You’re getting fired in the morning…. #187664Can’t say I’m not disappointed to ship a two goal lead. Brighton good value for their point unfortunately. Our old problem of not controlling games rears it’s head. Chelsea just keep winning, much to my disgust, and city only find themselves 2 points off us after a collapse today. Nothings ever easy is it.

30th October 2021 at 1:32 pm in reply to: Gameweek 10: You’re getting fired in the morning…. #187609I can’t ever see Rodgers to utd happening Ed. He was deemed not good enough for Liverpool in the end, can we really say he’s a much better manager now? Handling big egos I feel was his weakness, as well as a little naive, likely less so now. It just seems so far fetched to me. Surprised some utd fans on another site that shall not be named calling for him.

Talk Radio host claiming you can grow concrete in interview with Insulate Britain. They really aren’t the issue when you have brain dead pricks like that with a national platform.

I thought City were braindead getting Grealish instead of Kane. Based on kanes form though, it looks like a bullet dodged. Some might say had he got his move he wouldn’t have lost form, but if he’s that wet City are better off without, and tbh so are England. If Kanes name was Paul Pogba, he would be dragged daily by pundits and fans. Somehow he seems to get nothing but sympathy.

I’ve heard there’s a bit of bad blood between AJ and Lennox due to the former signing with Matchroom and not Lennox. Ever since there’s been petty back and forths. I think you’re right about him too Lucky, believed his own hype, taking stupid photos playing chess. You hit like a freight train AJ, stop trying to be too clever about it.

Tyson Fury has a great boxing IQ, tremendous size and probably the best in the clinch there’s ever been. I don’t think there’s ever been another what you would call “big” man that can box like Fury. His speed and movement, for someone who weighs over 270lbs and is over 6″9 is ridiculous. The fight with AJ doesn’t have the same sauce on it unfortunately, but I do think he needs to clean up the division to cement his legacy. that Includes AJ, Usyk, with Dillian Whyte(long overdue a title shot imo) being his next mandatory. He does all 3 of those, he can hang up knowing he was one of the true greats of the sport, being the only undefeated Heavyweight champ since Sly.

Interesting take from me here 9. I would have no problem if they overturn the red, as it was clearly so unintentional. I stand by my assessment though, that of you go to ground and cause such an injury, you should be given your marching orders for that match at least. I was releived to see ref watch agrees with me, because the wider internet and even my social consensus seems to be it was a fair challenge.

Luckily it looks like it might just be a dislocation. Stone wall red card all day. Gary Neville harping on about it ruining the game. Elliots career could have been ended unintentional or not. The lad slid in, lost control, caused a very serious injury. If thats not a red card, then I’ll hear no more of how soft the game is these days.
