Ed – I think you’re forgetting a lot of people fancied man utd and chelsea at the start of the season, as they have been left behind it makes it look like an obvious two horse race. Before a ball was kicked we were anything but a dead cert for at least 2nd. After our first game against Chelsea, Lucky tried to tell me he had enough empirical evidence to say Chelsea were the better team.

Foxy – If you want to go left field then Thomas Frank is far more deserving than Howe. Howe wasn’t even managing for two months of the season. I found it funny that you thought Howe and Conte were more deserving than Klopp and I still do.

Foxy – Yeah you’re right. Klopp should have never been in contention. Its baffling. Quite an ordinary season for Liverpool. Going by your logic though, Man City were expected to win the league, so it can’t be Pep winning it. Which leaves Howe and Conte in your opinion 🤣

For transparency, I couldn’t care less who wins manager of the year. I was taking umbrage with the inconsistencies in a certain pundits views on what qualifies for the award, as he seemed to be hyper critical of Klopp, and completely downplayed the achievements of Liverpool this season.

Yeah I know Sean, but he’s either being paid to troll, which wouldn’t surprise me, or is just as thick as I say he is. Gives City credit for going deep into cup comps, but none for liverpool for losing the title by a point or winning said cup comps, and completely down plays the significance of the CL. He is paid to give an opinion on football, and it frustrates the life out of me. Absolutely stealing a living.

For context he said we were put in a CL group we should walk, though most called it the group of death at the point of the draw. He also gives City more credit for going deep into all competitions, than he does Liverpool for actually winning said competitions. He is thick as shit.

I appreciate the support fellas, I really do. It’s not my first time losing a pet, but it is the first time I’ve been the decision maker. I’m sure I will make sense of it all in time. Atm I just feel like such a traitor, despite being told its the most selfless thing you can do.

Not to give false hope or anything, but based off of information from a professor in infectious diseases, typically any new virus is most dangerous when it is first discovered, in order to survive the virus will need to mutate, but with each new mutation the virus will be a weaker version of what went before it. He was quick to point out that this is typical behaviour for viruses, and not necessarily the case for covid, but it does back up Lucky’s link above, and we can only hope that each new variant to come will be weaker still.
