But Steveo – name names please! Which Liverpool fan on here gives off the feeling of entitlement or the paranoid conspiracy theories? I can think of one but I think we all accept him for what he is, and he means well. But Mak, Sean, Mikus, threeps, Oz and myself I reckon keep it pretty even. Yes we wanted VVD to win the Ballon d’Or and we took part in the debate on here. But if we didn’t, it would be a pretty quiet forum. Yes we all desperately want Liverpool to win the league but we all appreciate City’s excellence and are still wary of the possibility of them coming back from the 11 point deficit. In fact it was a certain City fan who was claiming a conspiracy against his club after the Liverpool game.

Anyway I think it’s a good mix we’ve got on here and we’ll all have disagreements sometimes.

Yeah but Sean, it’s only still going because Davinci likes the sound of his own voice, and one or two others keep poking him and thereby encouraging him. The ironic thing is that they probably all agree that Hendo, while being an absolute asset to the team in so many ways, is not the most talented player in the world, but one of the best team players in the world, following Jurgen’s instructions to a T.

I dread the day TT finally collapses, which can’t be long now, and the likes of Davinci and Ginger come over here! The rest of them would be very welcome, as would most from the other clubs, many of whom are on here already

Very enjoyable game last night, though I feared the worst when I saw the team sheet. Thought Jurgen had taken leave of his senses frankly, but fair do to the lads who came in. They all played their part in the win, even Lallana.

…and isn’t Divvy just the greatest footballer of all time? 18 months ago he was on his way out of the club but we couldn’t find a buyer, and now he’s a legend. And yet how many other top level Prem clubs would he actually get a regular start at? What do you reckon wed get for him if we were to sell him?

Yeah, Ed, Sean is now sweetness and light and ‘all things are rosy’ compared to the way he was. I love the more upbeat Sean. Have to say though, I share his worries about tonight. It’s Everton’s Champions League final, and all the media headlines saying it’s the most one-sided derby ever will just spur Everton on. We have shown them too much respect over the last couple of years – they are a poor team, so we should just have a proper go at them

An interesting article, threeps. The tactic doesn’t really work though, because invariably we don’t get to coast the last 15-20 minutes of a game, as we’re either chasing a game or desperately trying to keep the opposition out, like Saturday. The percentage of goals we’ve conceded in the last 15 minutes is frightening. Mind you, we’ve scored a fair few in the last few minutes as well!
