I would pick Aguero for this game. He appears to have lacked a bit of confidence this past month. Thought he was back to his best at Swansea but dipped again last week. this match may just be the right one to get his confidence back – don’t think the Cherries will come and park the bus so may be quite open.
All the first eleven have had a decent rest so my team would be:
Ederson – Walker, Delph, Otamendi, Mangala – Fernandinho, Silva (D, if not then B), De Bruyne – Sterling, Aguero, Sane.

Aguero should be ahead of Lewandowski and Silva should be in top 20.

Justice done in the end.
Never a penalty.
Zinchenko and Tosin were the standouts.

Having supported City since the early 70’s, all this talk of being the best PL team ever doesn’t interest me in the slightest. I have been to the likes of Wycombe, York and Lincoln and seen us get beat on cold, wet, windy Wednesdays, back in the day. I feel that I (like a number of other City fans on here) have paid my dues where City are concerned.
We are in a good position to win the PL this season but it’s still not even half way through. And even if we don’t, I’ll still feel very privileged, witnessing football that at times takes my breath away.
Anyway, fingers crossed for the rest of the season.

NB – Jesus was at least half a yard behind the ball when it was played to him, therefore can’t be offside.

Don’t worry Jim. Mangala did ok when he came on, Vinnie came through the full 90 and Otamendi back for the next game.
It’s strange how Vinnie’s presence on the pitch lifts the performance of both Otamendi and Mangala. Just hope we can get a good run of games out of him now – fingers crossed.
Team played well today, especially in the second half. Two excellent goals but both very different –
KDB again superb, as was Silva.
Good three points, from, what I believe will be, one of our toughest six away games of the season.

Great result and fine second half performance: 2-0 and could easily have been another couple. Having said that, they hit the post just before De Bruyne scored the second.
Big win considering all the teams immediately below us won (bar Spurs), with United still to play.
Shame about Stones but on the plus side, good to see Vinnie come through the 90 and Otamendi back next week._____________________________

Chucky, I think you’ll find most if not all, the City fans on this forum have been supporting our team since the 70’s and 80’s and well remember the “cups for cock-up” days of that time. Old habits die hard, as they say, and the ‘glass half empty’ attitude (at least as far as City are concerned) is hard to shake off.
As a result, I still remain hopeful rather than expectant of our title chances this year – as many have pointed out, it’s still very early days._____________________________

14th November 2017 at 9:14 pm in reply to: England V Brazil – Tuesday 8pm / Italy fail to qualify for the World Cup #7474Referee is bobbins – too fussy and not allowing the game to flow.

Yes just heard that Adlab. A bit worrying – for Sergio, I mean. Hope he’s ok and nothing more than a viral infection or exhaustion.

Personally, I’d play Fernandinho alongside Stones with Gundogan in front of them. Leave Walker and Delph (if fit) as wingbacks. Silva, de Bruyne and Sane then supporting Aguero and Jesus up front. That should do the trick – 3-1. COYB.

Awesome world class performance from MCFC in Naples tonight.
Great results from all the (entertaining) English sides. Special mention to Spurs – fabulous win._____________________________

Went to the game today. Good professional performance from the lads – dominated from first whistle to last – only criticism would be a few wasted chances, Merlin (2) and De Bruyne the stand outs – hopefully saving them for next two games.
James McLean – What a F**king lowlife, again deciding to wear a shirt without the Poppy. Is he that thick that he can’t comprehend that if it wasn’t for men and women making the ultimate sacrifice, he wouldn’t now be in a position to earn the 000’s of £ a week his (extremely limited) ability allows him to. What a t**t._____________________________

I used to have doubts about this conspiracy theory in cup draws but yesterdays farce asks serious questions regarding its legitimacy.
Us City fans can’t moan too much about away draws: if my memory serves me right, we had a very good run of home cup draws from 2011 to around 2015. I distinctly remember thinking at the time it was costing me a fortune as both me and my son in all cup schemes._____________________________

Sorry Jim, not logged on for a couple of days. It’s on Eurosport – England’s next game is a QF v. USA, on Saturday afternoon, 3pm ko. I’ll be at the Etihad (of course), so will record it and watch later (Missus allowing).
England beat Japan in last 16 on penalties (0-0 @ FT), scoring all five, believe it or not._____________________________

Foden’s away at the U17 World Cup with England atm, Jim.
Don’t know if you’ve seen any of the games but for me (and I may be a bit biased) he’s been the stand out player in the tournament so far._____________________________

Good news – Aguero back in light training today – should be fully fit in a couple of weeks.

Been following Foden’s career for the past couple of years – Sean, he’s not 18 until next May. He is a massive talent and comes from a family of big City fans (not too surprising coming from Stockport :-)). City usually let their youngsters go out on loan but in the case of Foden (and Brahim Diaz – who is also a fabulous prospect) they blocked a number of requests from other clubs. That suggests both are in Pep’s thinking – pretty sure that one or possibly both will be involved from the start v. Wolves in next round of League Cup.
