Cheers NB, appreciate your words. And no, I ain’t going anywhere.
Good luck to Liverpool in the semis and hopefully beyond – I’ll certainly be rooting for you._____________________________

Cheers Ed.
I joined this site on the recommendation of another Blue. I was previously on TT but got really p****d off with the road it was going down. Due to a fairly hectic work, family and social life, I don’t get to post as often as I’d like but do care about it going forward and would hate to see it go down the same route as TT._____________________________

There was NO ‘neutral’ area for this match. The only ground, that I know of, that has such an enclosure is Fulham.
My mate is a Liverpool fan and had a ticket in with the home fans. I told him to ‘sit on his hands’ throughout the match which he did and he was fine. He was even chatting (in his Scouse accent) with the City fans around him but did not jump up and celebrate Liverpool’s goals. Anyone who did that really is asking for trouble, especially after what happened last week. I’m not saying that’s right (it’s not) but just bloody common sense, as Nine points out in an earlier post. Anybody suggesting that’s condoning trouble is way off the mark and just trolling for a reaction. Sadly this is becoming more common on this site of late: one reason, I feel, Big Jim has ‘taken a break’._____________________________

Congrats to Liverpool.
However, I am sick and tired of being shafted by bad decisions – five in the last three games, directly affecting the score. That Sane offside goal was a complete joke, wtf do those planks on the goal line actually do? Surely he saw Milner play the ball back. That was a massive game-changer – 2-0 going into HT and momentum was all ours.
VAR can’t come in soon enough. Having said that, when it is introduced, marginal decisions initially ruled in our favour will probably be chalked off, knowing our luck.
Really, really f****d off._____________________________

I thought I’d let ‘the dust settle’ and disappointment wane (to some degree) before plucking up the courage to watch a recording of the match. Much as I’d thought yesterday, three things were evident:
1. We defended terribly for all their three goals.
2. Our finishing was pathetic – Raheem the main culprit – Aguero/Jesus would have buried those chances and 4/5 up at HT, match over.
3. United’s finishing was deadly. However, yesterday is now gone so need to look forward to Tuesday – can’t say I’m at all hopeful but you never know. If we are, as expected, going out, let’s hope it’s a good game, perhaps 5-2/5-3. And even after last week, I’d still want Liverpool to go on and win the cup.

Still waiting for an answer chaps…………ah well, back to the Masters.
I’ll assume your silence speaks volumes.
I’ve made my point but must admit the replay suggestion was a bit ‘tongue in cheek’ just to get a reaction. As far as I’m concerned that’s the end of it – we’ll just have to spank you 4-0 (aet) in the second leg and justice will then have been done.

Yeah just seen it on SSN. More sad news.
Just like NB, he was the one that initially attracted me to darts when I was growing up – always my late-Granddad’s favourite.
RIP Eric Bristow._____________________________

If UEFA don’t act fast and hard this would give the idiots, that all clubs do have, ‘carte blanche’ to act in any way they see fit to skew a match in their club’s favour.
Now Sean and Beni, give me one GOOD reason why the match should not be replayed._____________________________

It really doesn’t matter if it was one person, a hundred or a thousand people who perpetrated the attack, you’re completely missing the point. As the pictures from inside the coach evidence, it was a very frightening experience for the players and you could tell from their faces when disembarking the coach they were clearly very shaken and this definitely affected their performance in the first half – I’ve not seen them play that badly since Pep took charge.
The fact that Liverpool have been charged on numerous counts clearly shows who UEFA think are to blame. But to have the hearing after the CL final does City no justice and does not compensate for the affect it had on the players. If UEFA had any balls, they would order the tie to be replayed behind closed doors.
However, this is the same UEFA who, a few years ago, fined City Β£25,000 for being one minute late returning to the pitch after half time and at the same hearing fined Porto Β£17,600 for racist chants aimed at Mario Balotelli – absolute joke organisation._____________________________

The linesman on this side did us no favours whatsoever, should have given offside for their first and then gives Sane offside when he was level for what could have been a crucial away goal.
Having said that, overall, Liverpool definitely deserved their win but can’t help thinking our players were shaken by events outside the stadium before the match – they certainly played like it first half._____________________________

Too right Chucky.
We’ve been absolutely clueless. Wtf is Gundogan doing on the right.
Defensively all at sea. Ferna lost in the middle of the park with KDB too deep. Surely it would have been better to put him on the right and Gundogan alongside Ferna.
It actually looks like the incident with the coach outside the stadium has affected us – scumbags._____________________________

Scummy, low-life, no-marks. And police do FA.
UEFA need to look at this closely._____________________________

22nd March 2018 at 7:42 pm in reply to: MΓΈlby pretty sure Liverpool will beat City in the CL #18593It really doesn’t bother me in the slightest what Liverpool’s players (Salah) and ex-players say before the tie and I’m sure the City players think the same way. They know, as us fans know, that their talking will be done on the pitch.
What does concern me though is the reports, encouraging intimidation, being spouted on some Liverpool fan sites. This has no place in football – the tie should be won on the pitch.
I’ve always had the utmost respect for Liverpool fans and found them to be amongst the fairest in football. It would greatly disappoint me if they resorted to such tactics. It would also highlight their desperation to start winning major trophies again._____________________________

Not sure our defence is good enough to win the CL, tbh NB.

Well that’s CL football secured π
Seriously though, another sublime performance, especially second half, when we could easily have got another 2/3.
David Silva, what more can we say – surely one of the best five midfielders to ever play in the PL.
Three more wins, or two if we beat United – their biggest nightmare looms ever larger – that we clinch the title by beating them or secure it beforehand so they’re obliged to give us a guard of honour.
Personally, I’d rather beat them to win it but I’d honestly just take the title anyway.
