I mentioned earlier in relations with Manchester United, when you end up with injuries to key players, you end up relying on players who can hinder how you want to play.
Spurs have lost Madison and have lost 2 games in a row. Manchester City lost Rodri and lost a few. Manchester United have lost half a team and have not had a fully fit squad since the season started. People say it is a squad game, which is true, but your 2nd,3rd or 4th choice is never going to be as good as your 1st choice.

Peps famous medical team was rejected by Bayern for dubious reasons because of the number of long term injuries Bayern players were having. He had a long term Bayern doctor pushed out.

Wan Bissaka, Martinez, Shaw, Casemiro, Hojlund would be starters. Mainoo was also considered to play a part in the 1st team.
Our squad today also had 5 players who also did not cost a penny and some are considered back up players. We are resorting to playing out 3rd choice players in some positions.

In my opinion both Ferguson and Klopp status were not high when they arrived at Manchester United and Liverpool. They were under a lot of pressure to deliver. Ferguson made some brave decisions too. He got rid of Strachan and anyone else he felt was disruptive durin this early years. Same with Klopp when it came to Sakho.

Not sure where this theory that Ten Hag is a poor man manager. Last season with Sancho disciplinary issues, he sent him away to get his act together and get his mind back in to football.
After the Brentford loss last season, Ten Hag told the players they didn’t cover enough ground in comparison to Brentford. He then sent the players on a run to make up for the loss ground compared to Brentford. He joined in with them.
Sancho literally has reverted back to his old ways and Ten Hag has had enough. How many chances does he expect to give Sancho. Ferguson got rid of quality players for less. So have Klopp and Pep.

The only footage the VAR screen showed was a still image of Rashford stamping on his ankle.

I reckon he will come good. Just needs confidence.

And there are so much more. Could make it another 3 minutes.
Clips are subjective.According to the stats, MUFC get by far the worst treatment of all clubs in the PL, and arguably in Europe. pic.twitter.com/0l2H172Itn

5th November 2023 at 3:56 pm in reply to: Weekend Football – Gameweek 11 Sparklers and Fireworks :-) #210571United overpayed for Antony because Ajax didn’t want to lose both Martinez and Antony… so they inflated the Antony fee to put us off. United ended up paying the fee. Considering how much Moussa Diaby, Doku cost, we got robbed again. Gakpo came close to joining Leeds or Southampton for Β£25m the summer United bought Antony, so United could have got 2 players for less than what the club paid for Antony.
The club doesn’t have a structure or direction and clubs end up exploiting this. There is already something called United tax, which was known during Fergie days. He didn’t want to pay a few million more i.e Lucas Moira, Eden Hazard. Nowadays the club is paying Β£30m+ more than they should for players.
There isn’t a rational approach to things. Even Ajax were left flustered when United came back paying the fee.

4th November 2023 at 11:15 pm in reply to: Weekend Football – Gameweek 11 Sparklers and Fireworks :-) #210545Wasn’t just the ball being out of play
It was Joelington pushing the Arsenal player and the ball coming off his arm, ending in Gordons path to score.
The Gordon was also offside from the looks of things.
You had 4 incidents and any other side, the goal would have been ruled out.
Didn’t Newcastle get a dubious decision last weekend against Wolves too?
