I emailed him and have not received a response. Doubt they care about the forum side of the website anymore. What a shame.

Looking at this, Wolves 3rd goal should have stood.
How could they not have a camera angle showing whether someone who took the corner was in an offside position or not. Especially when youβre using tech like VAR and it is 2022.

Really sad news. No age at all. Thoughts and prays for his family during this difficult time.

Conte would have suited Manchester United at the time in my opinion with the players we had. I reckon the 3 in defence would have suited Maguire and the likes of Pogba would have benefited from him. He seems to find a system which works around certain players, for example Lukaku.
His style isnβt always pleasing on the eye, but he would have got results.

Agree with what you both are saying.
It is just about the people who want to get back posting on there? If they have forgotten their password or want to register again, there isnβt a way of doing that.

Hi Sean,
Cannot knock people who still post on there, looking at the site, some club forums are still active like Liverpool and Manchester United.
But like you have said, the format is absolutely shocking. Many things have been broken for years like what I mentioned above. There must be people who probably want to post on the site, but unavailable to do so because of this.
Looked on the report a problem thread and there hasnβt been a response to the issues with the site in a long time. It is like they want to pull the plug, but just reluctant to do so.

31st December 2022 at 9:06 pm in reply to: Weekend Part Two: Week 1: Or maybe 17: Don’t really know anymore… #202137I fancied us against City back in October and yet we got spanked.
This City side will be up for it and the Everton result probably gave them the kick up the backside they needed.
United were too open at times against Wolves, give City those opportunities and Haaland will be burying another hatrick.

Went undercover in Saudi Arabia to investigate hundreds of wealthy citizens selling their vulnerable maids online – on their version of eBay
I spoke to sellers flogging workers alongside cars & fridges on this disturbing black market app – still available on Apple/Google stores https://t.co/bT0dLN101b

30th December 2022 at 4:35 pm in reply to: January Transfers 2023 (All I Want For Christmas is….) #202010Adlab, the last 5 years there has only been 2 teams who have won the league title. 1 of them won it 4 times. Football always comes in cycles….United dominance was always going to end once Ferguson retired.
The cartel you are referring to between 97-04, there were 2 teams competing for the league. 1 of them won it 4 times and other 3.
Hate to say it, thankfully we have had Klopp who has made the league competitive, otherwise it would been City walking it every year.

30th December 2022 at 2:03 pm in reply to: January Transfers 2023 (All I Want For Christmas is….) #202002Pep spent 450m in his 1st 15 months being City manager improving a squad that already had Kompany, Silva, Fernandinho, Toure, De Bruyne and Aguero.
No other manager has had that luxury. Comparing the resources he had to any other manager, is like comparing apple and oranges.

United were not the biggest spenders up until the RA arrived. Ferguson didn’t have the most expensive squad or 1st 11. Doesn’t every top team buy players from opponents. Arsenal and Liverpool use to do it too. I remember Liverpool paying 8m for Collymore and Arsenal offering 100,000 a week to Sol Campbell.
That is nothing compared to what City have done. City are literally like someone going to the gym and taking steroids just to catch up to the people who have been training for years.
The biggest spender in every Premier League season – and how they fared

Apologies, I wasn’t taking anything away from the the job Pep has done. Pelegrini use to manage mid table sides before arriving at City and didn’t win anything notable until he got to City. He was sacked at West Ham because they were in a relegation battle at the time.

Just to correct you. Littlewoods did not take over Liverpool, they took over Everton.
Shankly was the reason behind Liverpool’s dominance, just like Paisley, Dalglish and Klopp after him.
Just like Busby and Ferguson were behind United’s dominance.
Whilst a state will are behind City’s dominance.
Pellegrini won the league with City, afterwards went to West Ham and ended up with the sack. It does not take much skill to win the league title with that City side.Whilst managers are always remembered for United’s, Liverpool’s and Arsenal’s success. Wealthy owners will be remembered for City’s.
