He thought Liverpool should have had a penalty when TAA was at fault. That is some bias.

5th March 2023 at 10:34 pm in reply to: Most embarrassing Manchester United performance today #205048Think he is trolling, Ed.
United fans have always said Neville can be overly critical of the club and he can turn a blind eye to rivals.
Not sure what the Arsenal result at old Trafford has got to do with it? Arsenal in recent times have bottled it. Neville opinion was purely based on that after the Arsenal result earlier this season.

GJblue is correct, some were saying United had a chance of winning 4. But this is no different to some saying City will win 4 or Liverpool last season.
I thought it was far fetched considering United are 14 points behind Arsenal.
United literally got torn apart today. But it was coming. Recently United have flattered to deceive. West Ham should have been 3 nil at half time on Wednesday and Newcastle had their chances last Sunday for example.
The biggest challenge now is how United respond to this result and performance. Is it the kick up the back side that they needed or will it fall apart.
Congratulations to the Liverpool lads on here.

Good start to Ten Hags tenure.
Commiserations to Newcastle. Played well in the 2nd half.
Martinez man of the match for me.

United share prices have slumped after interest from a US investment firm.

Not sure about the whether it was a red card incident during Uniteds game. The player looks like he just pulled out before making a impact. The images make it looks worse. I would say yellow at least.

Good win today. Felt we were lucky at times with Leicesters poor finishing and Rashfords 3rd goal looked offside.
Rashford has developed under Ten Hag, but I also believe Pogba and Lingard leaving has done him wonders too.

Is anyone surprised by Peps reaction?
During his playing days, Pep failed a drugs test and years later cleared his name by using a technicality.
They needed a sample of his original drugs test, due to the company not having the sample because they dispose them after 2 years, Pep saw this loophole and all but cleared his name. Just as corrupt as his employers.

This is a bizarre one. With very little information in regards to the person who wants to take over. Maybe it is a good thing with the lack of publicity surrounding him or maybe he could be another Al-faraj if the Glazers sell to him.

Hope he never plays for the club again. Money talks in this corrupt world.

3rd February 2023 at 8:17 pm in reply to: January Transfers 2023 (All I Want For Christmas is….) #203641So the person who spent around Β£450m in his 1st 15 months in charge of Manchester City, improving a side which already had Aguero, Fernandinho, De Bruyne, Kompany, Silva is questioning Chelseaβs spending.

If Liverpool spent the Nunes and Gakpo money on Declan Rice and Caicedo, they then would be a much better place.
Not sure which midfielders they can get to improve their side besides from Bellingham.

What a buy Casemiro is turning out to be. Makes a difference to the United side.
commiseration to the Liverpool gents on here. After all the miracles Klopp has delivered, you probably needed a season like this in order for the board to wake up and realise he needs proper investment.

22nd January 2023 at 8:34 pm in reply to: Weekend Football – Gameweek 21 – All Good Games :-) #203230Reckon AWB had a poor game too after his recent good performances.
We missed that link between defence and attack too in Casemiro.
You got to hand it to Arsenal for standing by Arteta. He has built and moulded the side to the way he wants it. Shows what a little bit of patience does. Any other club, they would have sacked him.

22nd January 2023 at 7:20 pm in reply to: Weekend Football – Gameweek 21 – All Good Games :-) #203227Good game of football. United missed Casemiro badly. McTominay is just not good enough.
Arsenal showing the passion that is needed to win the league.

Salah is a exceptional player. Like you have summed up Mane just had more to his game. It is also Mane intelligence you are missing. The way he use to drag the opposition defenders away when he didnβt have the ball, which created space for others. I watched him live years ago and the opposition had 2 players on him at times. Things like that makes a difference.
