Last Chance Saloon for Big Angie today… loss “badly” today (as least go out swinging!) and I think the axe will have to fall, give the new manager the best part of a month to sort out the team before the Europa League returns… and with it any chance of a trophy or European football next season… going to be a long old afternoon counting the clock down.

So a usual evening for you then, 3p’s? 😉
Not expecting anything, going to have a new-look make-shift defense, very probable at least 2 teenagers starting (in CM & CB roles, exactly where you would want you more experienced players!), and possibly another teenager making his debut up in English football…
4-2 to the Spuds, 5-2 on aggregate, and tonights winning lottery numbers are 7, 14, 27, 33 & 36, with Buffy’s polished powerballs being 6 & 9!!
We’ll be cooked before the Half-time oranges are cut…

Whereas most want the Goonies to go out because they’re a bunch of namby-pamby whiney wannabees lead by the biggest baby of them all… (and I don’t mean Buffy!)
Waspy, the thing with us is we’re a like a giant tin of Quality Street… except lately we’re mostly those horrible coffee creams which only get eaten when your desperate…
Ironically, the teams we seem to do better against are the ones who don’t play 5-4-1 and try to sneak a counter…I really don’t rate our chances… not with a complete make-shift defense… would be happy with 0-0 obviously but it’s been about 107 games since our last 0-0… 🙂

Right then, the transfer window is shut, and those who made moves, made them…
Not entirely unhappy with my boys, the new goalie doesn’t look too bad, a bit shaky with the ball at his feet but would be interesting to see how he copes with a more settled defense in front of him.
Speaking of which, a new CB came in, certainly needed, but can’t say I’ve heard too much about him, been around the block a bit, let’s see him in action before making judgement…
Nobody in mid-field, disappointing….
And this French lad from Germany, didn’t seem too keen at first, but by all accounts can be a tasty player when given his chance… another we’ll wait and see him kick a ball before commenting.
Could have been worse… Levy was certainly making offers left, right and center… but could have been better….
Surprised the Goonies didn’t try and get a proper #9 in… I think they missed a trick there… still don’t think they’ll score/win enough to overtake Pool… but still comfortably 2nd…
Still fancy 115 for 3rd… certainly strengthened their squad more than the other contenders for the CL spots…
