Saw some of the first half, soft penalty I thought, and possibly the worst ever taken penalty (reckon I could have saved that!) but a decent result in the end. Not home and dry, but pretty close do it!
5 teams in the pot hopefully, the mind boggles at some of the potential groups it could chuck out….

Admittedly, we haven’t quite achieved the success (cough), but other than chucking the GDP of small countries around, what other choice do we have?

Got to say though, not seen much of young Master Ryan, but judging from your comments you see it as a plus… those two and who else? Still think Barkley will end up coming, then there’s the Diop chap who I wouldn’t know if he smacked me in the face with a smoked kipper, and possibly Martail?

Fees are crazy, without a doubt, and for every one that works out, there are three that don’t, yet teams are still spunking wedges all over the place (all except one!). Getting stupid to the point where I’m losing interest….just a little bit!

Gold Star this week I think has to go to Huddersfield, not a bad way to start your time with the big dogs, 3 points and 3 goals away from home against half decent opposition!
Silver Star to YooUtd, close to gold, but whereas YooUtd were good, Spammers were poor. Methinks they could be in for a long, long season playing like that every week!
Bronze star… hmm… nobody else really seemed to cut the mustard, no frills away wins for Spuds and Spuds Rejects (see what I did there?), maybe Leicester and/or Watford for having the tenacity not to roll over against “bigger” opposition….

Cant… (need to type that carefully! 🙂 ), I don’t think Headbutter would struggle too much to be honest, RDM was dining out on his Big Ears for years, I reckon he’ll be all right.
As for pats on the back, I reckon he’s getting a fair bit of attention, to be honest, not really comparing to Pepe mind you, don’t really pay that much attention unless the word “Spud” features in the article to start with…

I didn’t see the “list” as mentioned, but they did show a highlight reel of Pool conceding from set-pieces over here, unfortunately for Pool, every team they play know this is a weak spot… they really need to work this out for their own sake!
Anyway, good luck against ze Jarmins… every point in the coefficient counts against that lot!
