NB.. that may be the case, but I would think it better for the team as a whole not to shoehorn in somebody who just happens to be good at set-pieces… and although I don’t watch him week-in, week-out, I don’t remember him being that good…..

Big J (in da house)… didn’t see that so I can’t comment, but I would certainly agree their should be some consistency (if it helps I remember Ali G getting a yellow for doing it so it’s not like Sterling was the first person ever or anything). But, the nonsense that happened is exactly why the rule is there in the first place.
As for never seeing again this season? I’ll take that bet (Mars Bar/Sherbet Pips, you choose!)… but not Palace, they couldn’t score in a brothel this season!

With regards to the Sterling yellow, I don’t see what anybody has to complain about. It’s been in the little black book for ages, players can’t jump in/celebrate with the crowd or do anything to excite them as, how can I put this, emotions are running high and silly things might happen (like crowds spilling onto the pitch, the game being delayed, and all sorts of other mayhem, like players arguing with stewards, accusations of fisticuffs etc…)
So what happened when Sterling ran over to the crowd again? As far as I can see it was a perfect example of why the rule is there in the first place!
Nothing to really discuss here I reckon!

YooUtd are looking solid, no doubt, but I wouldn’t say they are looking spectacular. Really looking forward to seeing how they play when they come up against another Top 6 side or it Maureen reverts to type.

Baggies vs Stokies isn’t exactly floating my boat right now, Chelski seem to be cruising. All a bit of a warm-up for the big one later, got my family bag of salt and viniger crisps and bottle of pepsi, just hope Harry can banish his August Blues and Wembly can spank of the bottom of the curse.
YooUtd looked half decent again, nothing spectacular but just simply wearing down the opposition in front of them. Same thing with Leicester yesterday. They won their first three last season too…
Oh, and a draw between Pool and the Goonies… (Pool and the Goonies, sounds like an indie band to me!)
