Goldie… I thought the thing was great on the pitch and prat off the pitch? Every who seems to dislike Costa is because he’s on the pitch shenanigans, same with Vinnie, nobody liked him on the pitch but don’t remember anything off the pitch for him.

Funny thing, I’ve also heard some great things about Terry too, which is a shame because he’s also let himself down on a fair few occasions.

As for Judas, I wouldn’t put him in this category. Sure, he did the dirty on us, and he has come out with some right nonsense since he retired, but hardly an asshat off the pitch.

Do we get half of Ben Thatcher? Didn’t he play for the Spuds at some stage? Anyway, I volunteered a couple, you lot voted them out. What about Shilton in goal? He was a bit of scallywag of the field if I recall…

Midfield: Wise, Barton, Keane, Giggs (Goldenballs)
Striker: Collymore & ????? (Sorry, but Gnasher & Costa were gits on the pitch, not really aware of anything off the pitch)

Can’t say I’d go with Ruddock, pretend tough guy om the pitch and don’t remember anything off the pitch.

Normally, Goldie, I would agree but (can’t believe I’m gonna defend two Chelski lads, what is the world coming too?) but Vinnie is meant to be a bot of a diamond geezer off the pitch (are you thinking of his movies? LOL) and what did Costa ever do off the pitch to warrant a place in this team?

I mean, he went on strike to get out of Chelski, but I reckon all non-Chelski fans can completely relate to that! 🙂

I’d go for Goldenball’s over both Neville and Elbows to be honest. If the criteria were just playing for YooUtd then I could give you squads! 🙂

Don’t know anybody who dislikes Elbows either now I think about it, he’s more a figure of fun than anything else, bit like Ronald McDonald or Donald Trump without nuclear codes.

Legends on the pitch, asshat’s off the pitch… love that one!!

From a Spud perspective, the first name that pops into my head is Glenn Hoddle!! Met him once, and all I can say is it’s true when they say you should never meet your hero’s! Also going to chuck in Ledders in the mix, never met him, but heard a lot of stories about him on the good old grapevine that would make your hair curl….

Struggling with a goalie, the only “qualified” goalie that springs to mind, half decent on the pitch and a bit naughty of the pitch, is (and I’ll apologize now! 🙂 ) is old Brucie Wobblylegs!

Let’s be honest, does anybody really pay any lip-service to anything Maureen’s comes out with? That’s the man who “The Boy Who Cried Wolf!” was based upon. I suggest, like me, anything that Maureen’s says should be treated like a comedy YouTube clip, purely entertainment only.

Don’t get me wrong, the guy know’s how to put trophies in the cabinet, but what a Rodney he can be!

Just been looking at the “co-effefiieicncnfnfents” points table, it’s a pity the top 4 leagues are gauranteed 4 spots, becuase 3rd & 4th between the Pizza-boys & Sausage Munchers is getting very close (less than half a point!), with the Fish & Chip Brigade relatively safe in 2nd over three points clear!!!

On a side note, the mighty Spuds have the 2nd highest points for this season in the whole of Europe (with ManCity 1st!).

Goldie.. hate making predictions, always come back and bite me in the Harris! 2nd place in the League is up for grabs, as for the CL, it’s all about the draw as for how far we could go. I think we proved last night, we are more than capable of giving anybody a game.

Big J, overall I think Madrid were possibly the better side, they controlled to game better and for longer periods than my Spuds, who seemed quite content to sit back and soak up the pressure. Both teams created some decent chances, and 3-3 wouldn’t have been unfair to either side. Best two players on the pitch were the goalies, to be honest, flashes of brilliance from all the usual suspects on both sides. Our penalty wasn’t given, our stupid penalty was (I mean, it was a peno, a stupid challange!). 1-1 certainly wasn’t unfair, although if I was a Madrid fan, I’d fell a little bit annoyed, I suspect!
