Spuds close to another young CB too, some lad from Argie-Bargie land who, by all accounts, had a great U-20 World Cup…. but that one has been going around for a while, although I bit quite over the last month or so.

BanjoChucky! 🙂Get on the blower to Barca, tell them in no uncertain terms, you get us VVD from Saints and Katy from Redbull and we’ll give you Wee Phil. Give them all the headaches of sorting things out, and if it comes off, I do genuinely think you’d be better off with VVD and Katy in the team. Much, much more balanced I reckon!

Unfortunately, I would be in agreement with Mak, I think the writing is on the wall with this one, same as we have with Bale a few years back. Dodgy back injuries and all… shame, on his day he can be a cracking little player and we all like those.

For what it’s worth, which isn’t much, I watched the YooUtd game and nothing really springs to mind with regards to Hart having a mare as such…having said that, nothing springs to mind about him having a blinder either…. the only vague impression I got as far as Hart is concerned, was thinking he’s going to have plenty of practice with that team defense in front of him.

HH… pretty ordinary is kinda complementary, to be honest. When we off-loaded him to China there was a bit of a party. No idea what he did there (did a youtube of what was “one” cracking goal) but the rest is a case for Moulder & Scully.

Saw some of the first half, soft penalty I thought, and possibly the worst ever taken penalty (reckon I could have saved that!) but a decent result in the end. Not home and dry, but pretty close do it!
5 teams in the pot hopefully, the mind boggles at some of the potential groups it could chuck out….
