On a vaguely more serious note, I never did understand this logic that ALL players are going to go running when Real, Barca, Munich or even YooUtd come calling. If this was the case, wouldn’t we all be fans of these clubs as the “force” is so strong? Maybe, just maybe, certain people aren’t fazed by this so-called superiority of these so-called super-clubs? Personally, I couldn’t really give a rats-arse what these so-called super-clubs do, and it does make me laugh when other people assume every player (players they do not know and have never meet!) are going to go running when they come calling…
Time will tell, of course, no doubt about that, but what was that phrase, something about assumptions being the brother of all fook-ups… or something like that… 🙂

It was two separate ankle injuries (the same ankle though!), each about a month if I remember correctly and he missed 8 Prem games in total, along with 3 in the group stages of the CL… and probably a few cup games too!
Maverick… calm down son, Harry’s not going anywhere for at least another 2 seasons.. if he goes at all! Wish you monkeys would stop packing his bags for him!! 🙂

Nope, rules are rules, and when you start “tweaking” them or giving certain people/teams/whatever room to maneuver then chaos tends to happen. Same as Maureen sticking his toes over the white line, first it’s 6 inches, then it’s 12, then it’s Romulu Lakakaakkssusukkkoo… 🙂

As you say, statistically Pool are about as far away from a crisis as they are from Tokoyo, but having seen Pool play a few times over the Klopp era, there seem’s to be zero improvements on the defensive side from the Brent era…I think that is what is grinding the gears from those who are complaining. As a club in general, has Klopp really moved the club forward or are they treading water? The same defensive issues that ultimately cost Brent are beginning to look like the same downfall for Klopp in my humble opinion.
Anyway, it could be a lot worse….
