Fair shouts but somehow I don’t think Wagner or Silva are likely to jump ship, especially Wagner. I think they’re going to have to go for an “unemployed” manager to be honest.

Just saw this, I wonder who they’re thinking about as a replacement? There were already stories about a return for Moyes, possibly not the worst idea but nowhere near the best either…

Nobody in a red shirt covered themselves with glory yesterday, but Moreno wasn’t the stinkiest by a long, long way. I would/should think Teflon needs to be considering a change form this 4-3-3 he seems to get all the fizz in his beans from, as yesterday proved yet again, he doesn’t have the defensive players for it.. he has to be thinking 4-4-2 or even 5-3-2 surely?

Cyber chum, with all due respect I don’t quite understand how “Teflon” Klopp can still escape any serious levels of critique by the faithful. He’s had 2 years and 4 transfer windows and bought in 13 players so far, yet I would say Pool’s defense hasn’t visably improved one bit during that time. It’s easy in today’s game to blame the owners of any club about not giving the manager a couple of treasure chests of cash to buy a team, but I’m old enough to think old school, and still expect the manager to actually coach the squad he has rather than just by new players when he feels the need. Considering this aspect, I can’t help but feel that “Teflon” is escaping a fair amount of criticism here, with what appears to be a majority of Pool fan’s pointing the blame to the owners.

What a half of football… don’t know what to say, I think Spuds deserve the 3-1 lead, could have been out of sight after 20, but the Micky Mousers and their long balls over the top to Salah have been causing some problems too!

That’s a weird one from Poncho… first glance would say some weird 5-1-3-1 or something like that. Can’t see it being 0-0 with the amount of attacking talent on the pitch. Just happy Mane isn’t playing, he always seems to give us a headache. No idea about Dier, is he on the bench?

Absolutely right, Goldie, all about opinions (just so happens mine are right! 🙂 ). Can you imagine how good they will be next year once they’ve bought Sanchez and Messi? (and Rose, Kane, Aldwreoeirieid, Ronaldo, Pele, Greaves, Jennings…)

Double B… nobody is doubting City will have a bad spell, I reckon everybody is predicting more and longer bad spells for everybody else. I reckon, come the New Year and after that crazy 6 weeks when everybody has to paly about 10/12 games, City will be about 9 points clear of everybody.

Watching the Chelski game here, how many sitters did Watford miss at the start of the second half? They should have been out of sight!! Only 10 minutes in and Watford should have been 4 up!!

Goldie… my “criteria” for being out the race is more than 9 point, with 6 being for the doubleheaders against City, and 3 for a slip up from City… so yes, Pool and Goonies are out, and your mob are right on the bubble! But considering you’ve only got one more game agasint City this season, I would say your out of it too. Just being polite really. It’s a three horse race right now…

This Boufal lad at the Saints looks a bit tasty gents, not seen him in the flesh before, but that has to be the best 10 mins from a sub I’ve seen for a long time, turned the game on it’s and caused a fair amount of panic every time he got the ball. I’m going to predict a bright future for that lad! (And a transfer to Pool in 2 years for 120 million!)

Looking at the table, I do genuinely reckon loses for Pool or the Good Show tomorrow would end any realistic hopes for the title (although Goldie will probably have something to say about odds or “funny old game” 🙂 )
On a side note, just saw goal of the month, and a goal of the season contender, from this Boufal lad at Southampton, that’s worth checking out…
