Benn youtubing the “PENO”…. and the only view I’ve found is from quite a high vantage point, and watching it in real time, parts of me reckons it might be because it looked like Mac basically ran into Doku’s foot and wasn’t really paying attention to the ball, very obviously fishing for the peno… and considering where the ref was standing, I can kinda understand why he didn’t give (although I don’t think anybody from 115 would have complained if it was given either).
I reckon I’m in the “could have gone either way” camp rather than the “100% nailed on” camp.

Didn’t see the 2nd most important game yesterday so not going to comment on the peno…
Certainly don’t think the refs are on the payrole… (I’m more of a believer of the refs had VAR as much as we do and are trying to screw it up conspiracy, mixed in with sheer incompentance)
However, do think it’s a bit of a “mystery” how the 115 get away with so many soft fouls… I remember when they knocked us out the FA Cup, the HT foul count was 3 for Spuds and 14 for the 115… and no yellows… pretty sue I commented on here about it too…

Goose… joke all you want, but I can’t think of a YooUtd I’d take over any of my lot… Vicky vs Onana = Vicky… Shaw vs Udogie = Udogie (although there is a lot of “injury” taken into consideration there!)… maybe Martiniz for CB… but you can keep the rest… Dalot vs Porro = Porro… can’t think of a midfielder I would swap for any of ours… same for attackers… Garnaocho vs Sonny? Richarlison vs Holjund? Rashford vs Kulu??
I think if any YooUtd nutter went for a Spud/YooUtd combined 11, you’d be hard pushed to squeeze more 3 in there…

Proper church with proper crosses and half naked men hanging from them… spent most of it swapping Whatsps with me boss overseas, larffing about me being in church and missing the football… then the bastard sends me the FT score about 90 seconds before I sat down with a cup of tea to watch it…. completely ruined my night!!!

Nil, didn’t think their starting 11 was that “weak”, defensive certainly, and their bench didn’t look all that great… like Waspy said, started far too defensively… and that’s 3 & 4….

An interesting 5 minutes… about to type “that’s us done” when Micky went off (best player on the pitch up until then!) and then we go down and score… now they have to come out and play… and our turn to employ the dark arts…. and is that 2???

So, 35 minutes of Villa living up to their Villains tag and Spuds struggling against another low block, except for 10 minutes aronf 25-35 minute mark when Villa actually played and caused us all sorts of problems… very onbiously playing for the draw… up to Spuds to figure a way through this… neither club is going to be threatening top3, that’s for sure!

Not many teams can go toe to toe with the 115… and fully understandable many clubs “park the bus”… but a club of YooUts’s stature?? Got what they deserved and you have to blame the manager for setting them up that way…
