Just looking at the table and generally wasting time in the office, and took a butchers at Forest’s run so far… not exactly the hardest of starts… wouldn’t want to to be in their shoes between now and Christmas though…

Think we desreved that overall, although more injuries to worry about, with Richy going back off with a thigh strain, Romero doing something to his foot… needed that to stay in touch with the CL spots…

I reckon there’s four tiers in the Prem, you’ve got those who are challenging for the title, those that are challenging for Europe, those making up the numbers and those battling relegation…
What we have now is quite a large group of “Tier 2” clubs battling for Europe now and they’re all taking points from each other (which makes Teir 1 look better than the really are)… and Teir 3 clubs are all capable of the occassional upset of Teir 1 & 2…
Which leaves us in the situation in the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king… I don’t think Pool and the 115 are “that” far in front… better, yes, but everybody else taking points from each other makes the look better than they really are.

That’s points dropped in 5 of their 10 league games… and I still think they were fortunate to not drop points in theur game against us…
Still a long way to go but I reckon we’re looking at a two horse race, which doesn’t include those donkeys.

I don’t see how Amorum can be considered any better than ETH.. they both have had fairly short careers, both have spent their entire careers in their “local” leagues, both of which aren’t really consider the “premier” leagues in Europe, both haven’t had a great deal of success in Europe…
I can’t see how the end result here would be any different… might be, but I don’t see how.

I think the world and his dog can see there are issues in the dressing room and I think YooUtd need a manager who has got zero previous connections with YooUtd, and an impressive CV to pin up on the wall, and the balls to say “my way or the highway” and not really give a shit who he upsets in the process…
Granted, not many of those managers about, but one or two….
But Ariston… and on… it’s just dry/rinse/repeat….

It would be a brave man who predicts Sunday’s results, that’s for sure. Injuries, part-time managers, and a wobbly form book for all concerned would make the Mystic Megs among us keep our Monster Munch firmly in our trousers…
Wouldn’t mind watching the Sat Lunch time too… the Bone Saw Boyz, much like my boys could really do with the points before the gap to the top 4 starts getting larger than the skidmarks of Buffy’s pants!
