Well, I have to say Barkley will be crucial tomorrow if we are to unlock that stubborn Newcastle defense tomorrow. granted that Newcastle will sit deep and defend with 10 men behind the ball. and it’s these kinds of opposition that frustrate us and we struggle. I would recall Kovacic to replace Mount. as for the rest of the team, I would stick with the team that started against Burnley.

Looking at Bakayoko’s situation at Chelsea. I will be warry signing another player from league 1. selling Kante with a huge amount at this time in his career is a good option. but we better not go anywhere near another League 1 midfielder after our experience with Bakayoko.
Good news though on the Reece James front.

ok Amz you are right. we both want the best for Chelsea. but if we can get £20-£30m for Dunk, i think he will be a goos buy. but what if we buy Koulibaly for £80-£100m at bargain price and he fails? i hope Frank and the club have also explored this scenario when we go for Dunk(if at all we want him as it is a media speculation currently).

It looks like we don’t see eye to eye when it comes to Koulibaly. let us not forget that Napoli is struggling under his stewardship, aren’t they? and besides that, I won’t be happy if we pay that huge amount for a soon to be a 30-year-old player who has no experience in the PL. and we all know this league is unforgiving to the high profile signings. many of those flops we have bought were proven in the CL, but their pedigree in the CL hasn’t helped them settle the league. if we had to choose one, Dunk over Koulibaly who will cost an arm and leg to sign him from his current club who are also struggling currently.

Between Grealish and Madison, i would have Madison over Grealish in a heart beat. he is more all round player than. Grealish.
As for Liverpool, winning the league will be the greast achievement they could achieve this season. anything else is just a secondary. after they had been taunted so long for not winning the premier league. here they are winning in style and without arrogance as well. i’m a massive fan of Klopp and his style of play also.

Be careful what you wish for mate. Dunk is a good defender who will improve our leaky defence. while he is unproven at the top, Koulibaly is unproven in this league either. so i wouldn’t be paying that amount of figure for either of them. but if push comes to shove, Dunk looks more secure gamble than Koulibaly. besides remember the last centre back we have signed from a midtable team was Cahill and people said he would struggle because he is unproven at the top. how did that turn out to be?

Don’t why we are so obsessed with a centre back. Ake is a good CB, if we are to sign him, why woud we consider selling Christensen? convert him to play a defensive midfielder for sure he has a good range of passing and is young. he can also be played at CB when needed.

Would rather keep faith with Christensen than go for a West Ham CB. we need to find the old Kante back and out defence will be sorted. unless we find our old Kante back, I don’t think our defence will be alright. Zouma, Tomori, Rudiger and Christensen is fine if we are to target someone, just let it be a defensive-minded midfielder that compliments our attackers.

The Bale rumours are interesting. he is a left-footer as well as a serial winner. he will be the perfect addition to this squad. the only downside to that injury is his injury record. but Chelsea has a very good medical team. Diego Costa was injury prone but since he joined Chelsea he has been fine. Bale is a man with a point to prove, we don’t want another young player now. we want experienced senior. and Bale is British he counts as homegrown as well. if it was me who makes that decision, I would book a ticket for Marina this minute to seal that deal.

I agree with Steveo, I saw Rudiger also make those gestures. and you could feel from his reaction that he may have heard. and I think reporting something is one thing, and prosecuting the perpetrator is another. anyway, that is water under the bridge, Chelsea identified the man who racially abused Sterling he has been punished, similarly City has identified the man who abused Fred and he has been punished. I don’t know what is the mystery with this incident. Rudiger is not someone to make up that kind of stuff and he is not someone to misjudge that kind of stuff. he has experienced it in the past in Italy and is experienced enough to know that making such claims could damage his credibility and that of the club.

United was once an example of a well run club during the Fergie era. now they are the opposite of that. the issue isn’t how much you have spent, the issue is how wise have you spent. Liverpool is a prime example of a well run club. when they spent, they spent wisely and where they needed to spend. and the result is they are the best team in the league now. City has been also an example of a well run club. but sadly since David Gill and Fergie has left United, it has been a poorly run club.
Several clubs are now moving away from out spending strategy to one for the better organization. United spent and not with what they needed. unless they let this guy Ole rebuild the team and write off this season, short term fix won’t work for them. this guy is rebuilding, he has rebuilt,their defence already with a RB and a CB. he is trying toget the best out of Fred and he is getting much from now than Mourinho got from him. if he gets a striker, a proper winger and a creative no 10, he will be up there with others.

United improved second half. I will tell anyone who is shouting from the rooftops about Ole has to go. hold your horses. what tonight’s match has shown is the class between the two Manchester teams. and this traces back to the Fergie era. in Fergie’s last 3 seasons, City has been improving whilst United has been declining. and Fergie covered those cracks. now that Fergie is no longer there. the cracks have widened, and they need replacements, not repairs anymore. on the other hand, Pep has a better squad and a better set up. credit to City for how they have run their club and how they have lured Guardiola one of the best coaches in Europe. but Ole needs wingers and box to box midfielders. his midfielders contribute zero goals. and only Rashford is a regular contributor, and he thrives on counters, and when United are not counter-attacking he looks useless.

I have to say that I’m very disappointed with the Metropolitan Police department and Tottenham hotspurs football club for their handling of the Rudiger incident. after almost 3 weeks of investigations, the findings was Rudiger made up those allegations. and guess what. commercial attraction is much more important than morality today. thank you Metropolitan Police, thank you Tottenham hotspurs football club for empowering the racist punches. watch out this will discourage many potential victims from reporting any incidents in the future. because clubs and the police will cover-up. you don’t need to identify that something that has to do with his race. judging by Ruudiger’s reaction you should judge from his reaction.
At least I’m proud of my club Chelsea Football Club. we don’t condone racism and us don’t cover-up. and hats off to the match going fans at Spurs ground who has reported that idiot who went there to embarrass us. you set the bar very high. let us see who passes that test. I’m sure not many clubs will pass. and not many will report one of their won. Kudos to Chelsea football club match going find. I’m proud of you!

Are we beginning to see the end of Kante at Chelsea? suddenly the Real Madrid link appears and his form dips in. are Chelsea considering selling him? i still think we need to keep him and play him were he fits the team which is the defensive role. this guy is a defensive midfielder who wins tackles and not give inch perfect passes. find another role for Jorginho to replicate his success.
