Very harsh on City, all teams sometimes are guilty, why ban two seasons? i don’t what to say, but somehow i see David Gill’s hand in this? but just it’s a joke.

Personally, i wouldn’t say Sancho is that special, good player yes, but he is unproven at the highest level. and if you think the German league is that tough just ask Michy Batshuayi, he has been scoring for fun when he went there half a season on loan. so be careful when judging players who come from other leagues, because the grass isn’t always the same. Sancho hasn’t played in a tough league, he hasn’t won anything yet, he has only played consistently half a season so far, and if he has won the young player, them someone else might have won the senior player award. so you can’t justify because B’gham City wants Β£50 million for their player. Sancho is worth Β£30 million, that is his true market value.

I would agree letting Pedro makes sense, but letting Willian without a fight could look a stupid idea and will come back to bite us. he still has 2-3 years left in him, and he seems content at Chelsea and in London. i hope the club has a plan in place for that issue. letting Giroud is normal, i would have liked to keep him and give him a prominent role now that we are said to be signing a player who is an assist master. i would also let Jorginho join Juventus to keep Kante amd i his prefered position. and i would also try to deploy Loftus Cheek next to Kante in some games. Kovacic would be the man who will play next to him when we are facing bigger opposition.

I hope United to win the Sancho race because I’m not keen to see my club waste Β£130 Million on a player who is not proven at all. and one who has had a good half a season only at the German league. I think this deal has disaster written in it and i would expect Chelsea to stay clear of it.

Is Ziyech no 10 or winger? i’m confused about his position. but he has one hell of a left foot.

Kepa expects to start, and that is the right decision in my opinion, whilst Willy hasn’t made many mistakes, but the one mistake he made was costly. so I would rather have Kepa back and he is now motivated more than ever before. once Sarri dropped him when he has disobeyed him, and his next match was a league cup semifinal and he has saved penalties and was our hero, so I expect him to get his confidence back. and what better opposition than United?

My only worry is if Lampard sticks with Christensen, he doesn’t seem to have the concentration required to play at CB, I wonder if Lampard could explore another position he could utilise him. but he seems to be struggling at CB, of our four centre backs, he is the weakest, others are powerful and have the speed and physicality needed in the league.

If Lampard opts to deploy back three, would like Alonso to play in the left wing-back, he will give us the width and goal threat, and setpiece deliveries in around the box freekicks, there are so many benefits in utilising him on the left wing-back. my choice for the other wing-back is Reece James because his deliveries are quality, i will also play Azpi at the right side of the back three to cover for James.

While I understand from the human side that it will be difficult to cope with such stress. I still believe that he is paid millions to balance between career families. so he needs to sort his problem quicker or face the consequences. we cannot afford to see that kind of performance from the world’s most expensive keeper. sooner or later Chelsea will need a new keeper whether to replace him or to compete with him. and on the current form, any keeper would displace Kepa. I want Kepa to succeed at Chelsea, but if he cannot do then, Onana is a good option, having seen his performances this season, and he is 1.9m tall, and big, I wouldn’t mind having him at Chelsea anyway, whether to displace or compete with Kepa. but the fact that he broke up with his girl doesn’t give him immunity for underperforming.

The link with the Ajax keeper is a possible one, and while Frank and Marina won’t share those stuff with the media. but you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to know Chelsea need a new keeper, and on the bases of that, they have written this report. not sure whether he will suit the demands of the PL or if he is big enough to withstand the physicality of the league, but right now any keeper who can do better than Kepa and Caballero is welcome.

That is unlikely to happen now. and on the other hand, I was reading that Chelsea is looking bring the AJax keeper in the summer as Kepa’s replacement. so Kepa has four months to save his Chelsea career.

We haven’t beaten United since OGS has taken their the reigns, our record against them reads 3 loses and 1 draw. and we need to reverse that record in our next meeting if we are to succeed in the race for top 4. this fixture came at a time when we are having difficulties, it could play in to our hands if we approach at the right way. not giving any space between our midifled and defence will be key to our prospect of winning that game.

I have rewatched the reverse fixture and just noticed the mistakes we have made in that game. we have given enough spaces between the lines. and that was due to the fact that Jorginho lacks the pace to close those spaces quickly. and Kovacic have been playing that far from him. Kante will give us an an interesting option. so in this game i would play 3-4-3. Kepa, Rudiger, Christensen, Tomori, James, Alonso. Kant
e Kovacic, Mount, Abraham Willian. what is your take on this match?

I have been hearing this ‘Chelsea are preparing to hand Frank Lampard a summer war chest in excess of Β£150million’ thing for quite some time now. and I’m beginning to doubt that. but anyway I would reserve my judgement until the summer. but I fear that the summer won’t be as we may be thinking.

At some point, we may need to use Giroud, because he would have benefited those crosses that Reece James is putting into the box, which we have no one attacking or very little attacking. at this stage, I would have played him alongside Abraham in 4-4-2 0r 3-5-2 formation to give defences food for thought. because our next game will be against United, and we have struggled to break them down recently, and they have played counter-attacking by sitting deep and soaking up pressure. so having two strikers in the box would maximize our chances of scoring against them.

I still don’t know why Frank is avoiding using Giroud. now it’s certain that he willbe in our books until tue summer. just use him. he is an alternative to Abraham. and our attacking midifielders would benefit having him.

I don’t disagree with much of what you have raised. but to say Pulisc is not capable of creating goals is not something i agree with you. Pulsic is capable of creating goals, we have seen that earlier in the season that he can give assists. but his confidence is so fragile, and a little period of drought can affect his confidence.

I think Mount is a goal scorer, but because as you we have work horses in central midfield, Frank pushes him to create from central midfield. Kovacic and Kante remains our best partnership, although i’m unfair to Jorginho. but for me Chelsea comes first. also i don’t agree with you on the CHO, while he has an undoubted potential, i think he needs to go back to the basics, at a times i feel he is eager to impress by over doing stuff, he needs to play simple.

I also raised the losa of Fabregas on the Chelsea site the other day, and i still feel that we need to find that kind of player, or we couldn’t do worse by resigning him and using him sparlingly to mentor B. Gilmour.?

One bright side of Mount is that his setpiece deliveries are improving finally, I don’t know if it was not having many players that don’t go and attack his balls, or he was over hitting. but against Leicester, they had been superb. the boy is a goal-scoring midfielder, not sure why Frank has restricted him of late. his strengths lie in goal-scoring side and not creating goals, but it’s understandable because we don’t have that much creativity in central midfield and that may be one reason why Frank has pushed him to the central midfield area rather than a no 10 or a wing-forward, but 5 goals and 5 assists is a decent return for a 21-year-old player who is playing his first season in the English top flight.

Once Pulisic returns from injury, there will be more creativity in the side, and it will free Mount to do what he does best, now we have a winter break, and we need to assess our options because we going under a rough patch of games, and we have two games whom we cannot afford to lose next, so getting 6 points from those 2 games is a dream scenario, 4 points is an excellent result, and 2 points isn’t bad considering they are two of our immediate rivals.

Mak, Let us put this bias against City out, I would say Sterling should have been sent off, but that particular incident is not the case if someone is running that fast, then if they are touched even the slightest of touches, they will fall. given that the Alli foul was very dangerous and could have broken his leg, I agree Sterling shouldn’t have been on the pitch in that case. but don’t say that is a clear 100% dive while judging from a biased perspective.

Sean, as I said before, it would have been unfair for Sterling to be sent off for that kind of incident when many had been let off the hook before. rules need to be consistent. I do however agree that he should have been sent off for the Ali tackle, that looked endangering a player. but not for that particular dive.

If players were sent off for a penalty that wasn’t given, then I’m not sure if any team would have immune from a red card, the ref took the correct decision, it wasn’t more than a collision between two players. those who live in a glass house should not throw stones lads, every team has their own divers. the game still looks evenly balanced, despite the City penalty miss, I hope they come back stronger than they are now.
