That defence stood its ground yesterday. although the weaklink was Christensen. and he has done ok. the defence was also lacking protection yesterday. because Jorginho is more like a play maker than a defensive midfielder. if that defence gets a proper protection it will improve. Also Mount was on a different class yesterday, pressing Spurs from the from and forcing them into errors.
Would be very interesting that Mourinho claimed he has had an advance knowledge of the team that Frank will select. but still lost to him? that says more about Frank’s ability than Mourinho’s cleverness.
Just play the same team against Bayern plz. that team has everything in it. and and our players would benefit competition for places.

If Mourinho says he had the line up of the Chelsea team and was true, then he has embarrassed himself.because that will mean he knew the team and failed to counter amd lost.

Giroud starts scores, Alonso starts and scores the second. i wonder why Frank has ignored both against United. Spurs players are killing our players without facing punishments.

Mourinho says Chelsea are very lucky because his team has so many injuries. Mind games? i hope Frank doesnβt fall into that trap.

Scholes says the Chelse bench is to blame for Maguire not being sent off last night. because they have never reacted aggresively to demand a red card for Maguire. What a joke! Isnβt that a damning indictment to the standard of referees in the premier league? must they wait the Chelsea bench protest to do the job they are paid to do? that the worst thing i have heard from a pundit. there was no way the referee could have missed that even if he has missed at first sight, he had the VAR benefit of doubt. and it was beyond reasonable doubt that the foul was red card.

I won’t go to that extent, but I think something needs to improve from the system. I often don’t like questioning people’s integrity. we may not know what may have happened behind the scenes. so I would rather not speculate that. Anthony Tylor has never been my favourite Ref, but I won’t question his integrity. I was so upset last night and i said some things that were unnecessary, but i took back my words, but still, I’m disappointed with our performances.

Based on the current form, Willian doesn’t deserve to be given a contract. but our problems go deeper than Willian. also, I can’t fault Alonso as he rarely starts for us this season. likewise, Giroud rarely played for us this season. so all of those players rarely play for us this season. we need to sort our central midfield and central defence pairings. that is where we are losing games.
The rules of the game are if you defend better, you have a better chance of scoring goals, but we are missing that point. a solid defence is bases of success. and we need to take the bull by the horn. for instance, Azpi needs to step aside and bring in a natural left-footed left-back. even if they are suspect in defending, they will offer us the opportunity to cross with their natural foot, rather than try to adjust to the other.
Reece James looks to have nailed that right-back spot, so we need to get another left-back even if it will mean getting one from our academy. at least we will have patience with them as he will be learning.

Now, our primary need after the striker is a defensive midfielder who can protect our back four. we are clearly lacking that figure who can sit and do the job quietly. i think that should be at the top of Lampard’s wishlist in the summer.

Now after the dust settles, and everyone vents their anger, the question that begs to ask is, where do we go from here? isnβt it the time that we change our playing style? isnβt it the time that some players are dropped? losing to that crap United team three times in a season is a painful one to take. Frank has been stubborn lately., he knew Batshauyi has been finished at the club. and Giroud was the better option, but still opted to play him? certain players are out of form in the winter period.
I would restore Kepa because he has been dropped for two games and we have conceded 4 goals suggests he is not the problem. Reece James is very solid, but Iβm not sure if Azpi is similar. so Lampard new United would deploy 5 at the back, why not select Alonso and play wing-backs? Iβm comfortable with Christensen at the heart of our defence. where is Tomori, please?

I don’t know if to call that a conspiracy or something else. but i haven’t seen a team get all of those decisions like that. and remember Mourinho has complained about Anthony Tylor once before when he was a Chelsea manager. he even questioned his integrity.

United got all the decisions of the game in their favour 100%. and it’s ridiculous when you are playing with such injustice.

Ed, forget about the past games. i’m talking about tonight. had that been United i’m sure the offside rule would have been changed tomorrow.

Anyone who doesn’t say, the refereeing decisions haven’t favored United tonight must be deluded. they should have handed the point without tiring us.

Well, what can i say? the authorities have already decided who they want to win this game. and while i will disappointed with the goals we have conceded. you can play against 15 players.

You are too harsh on Mahrez, he has proven himself and was one of the reasons why Leicester won the league him, Vardy and Kante. amd on the other hand, Sancho has won nothing and hasn’t led a team as a main man. i saw him play for England and he looked average to me. Hazard has won the French league before he joined Chelsea in 2010/11 a season before his Chelsea nove. and Ferguson refused the agent fees according to his autobiography.
But Β£130 Million for Sancho is madness and i don’t know how to justify that. of the players that cost more than the Β£100 million mark, all are proven players. i hope i’m wrong but i fear that could now work as the Media in England win’t give him the time he needs to bed in.

I’m sceptical about this Sancho price tag. historically our high price signings often struggle with the weight of the price tag. and I don’t want to see what we have seen in the past. Mpabe has proven himself at the world stage, he has played a prominent role in the world cup win. on top of that, he was part of the Monaco team that swept teams for fun. but Sancho is totally a different case. he has no experience at world stage, he hasn’t won anything yet, but is said to command that price tag. I’m open to being proven wrong, but I won’t back down for now.

Nine, I hope it’s not the silly money that the press is quoting. and on the other hand, I don’t if Coutinho could be useful to offer us creativity in the no 10 position. and if we can arrange a loan deal with them with the view of buying him at a reasonable price.

I don’t mind the law being enforced fairly, but you see PSG has been found also in the similar offence and according to some sources they let them off the hook, and now City has been banned. I smelt a rat from this. and how Uefa has been rushing to charge City is another suspicion. and while we may never know the truth behind this, I still feel giving this kind of punishment at this stage of the season is also unjustifiable.
