I donβt think things are as bad as people are making at Chelsea. yes, we are struggling and in a rough patch of form. but what they donβt take into account is the fact that we are missing some crucial players and we have lost Hazard ontop of that. Pulisic, Abraham, Loftus-Cheek, Hodson Odoi, and Kante. and on top of that, we had players who are out of form and with the ones who would have replaced them being those I have mentioned above.
I think things are not as bad as people are making, had we taken our chances full, we would have won that game comfortably. the issue is poor finishing, and it has been the case since 2016, even when we had won we had been wasting chances. i believe we have more than 8/9 win chance had we taken our chances.

In my opinion, we don’t seem to play to the strengths of the current set of strikers we have. for example when we have Giroud on the pitch, we don’t put crosses into the box for him to feed off, and when we have Michy on the pitch we seem to put crosses into the box and that is the weaker side of Michy, his strengths lie running behind the defences, whereas Giroud’s strengths lie in the air in winning headers as well as exploiting and relishing the physical battle with the defenders. with that in mind, we tend to struggle as we don’t seem to play to the strengths of the strikers we have on the pitch. i hope Frank and his coaching team realise this and work out.

I’m not just looking for just one game. if you judge Tomori for his performance throughout the season has been fantastic. amd he is better than Christensen. He has been in between two players who had been weak. on one side was Christensen the lwb was Alonso and the defensive midfielder was Jorginho. no wonder he has had a bad game, he got no help from either. and he has been out for two months.
But despite that, i have full confidence in him than Christensen.

Spurs have lost to Wolves, United have drawn to Everton. it seems the that may have softened the blow in one way and in another way, it woud have given us a nice cushion over both teams and we would have narrowed the gap to Leicester.
Now if our wingers are contributing less goals, and our wing-backs are contributing goals, isnβt it the time that Frank uses 3-5-2 with too strikers Giroud and Abraham preferably and 3 Midfielders that includes Kante, Kovacic and Jorginho. plus our current wing-backs and back three that includes Tomori, Zouma and Rudiger. plus Kepa as the keeper. and then stick to that line up until the end of the

Since Christensen was reintroduced into the side, we had been conceding at 2 goals a game, isn’t it time that Frank explores different options, because whilst the boy is talented, he lacks concentration, and that is what you need to succeed as a centre back in the premier league. the earlier combination of Zouma and Tomori has been working well, it was better than the current one that includes Christensen.

Do we want to sell Alonso? well we should think twice if that is our position currently. the man is very important to the team than some of our established wingers.

I hope that won’t be the case and Frank won’t settle for Rudiger and Christensen partnership. because that partnership is a disaster. the best Partnership for me is Rudiger-Tomori one flanked by James and Azpi for the time being. infront of them, i prefer Kante and Kovacic._____________________________

Juventus lost to Lyon last night, and what is more interesting is that they haven’t had a shot on target in 95 minutes? some thing is not right at the club. at leas at Chelsea he had players who followed his instructions. i’m bot sure Sarri has that at Juventus.

I don’t know what VAR is upto. but was that even a red? yellow would have been fair in my opinion. but red was harsh. meanwhile they only suspended the offical that missed the Lo Celso incident which didn’t affect the game, and let off the hook the man who missed the Maguire incident which has impacted the game. the system have its owners.?

first half. the constest was even with both teams having their chances. and in the second half we have had a total collapse which has been very reminicent to our recent collapses in the second half. and that is what is worrying me more than the result.

Simply not good enough. at some point Frank has ti realise that Christensen is not the kind of a cb that should be the first choice of Cfc going forward. and tonightβs performance have highlighted that. since his reintrodtion to the team we have been conceding an average of two goals a game with the exception of Burnley game. so i donβt know what Frank sees in him.
Bayern have out run us in the middle, and it took 2 goals to concede for Frank to realise that. so tonight he has been very poor. Mount has had a bad day in the office and Frank should have taken him off rather than Giroud. we need a defensive minded midfielder to play infront of our back four. especiallu when we are playing against the top teams.
Iβm worried about how we will approach against Bournemouth game granted they will sit back and try to frustrate us. so i donβt know how we will approach with the rate at which we are making mistakes

I would rather have the Ajax keeper than Oblak Nine. the Ajax keeper is more of a less risk option. and he has been fantastic for them. and Ajax is to to value him at β¬40m. i donβt know why are not jumping to that option

So Charlie Nicholas is predicting Bayern will sweep Chelsea. and mind you his record of predicting the Chelsea matches have been terrible! let is hope he keeps his terrible record.

Well, after that impressive result,we need to maintain our momentum going forward to the game. the same team would be my prefered team. and we donβt have that much options either. the key to our success will be how we transition quickly from attack to defence, because Bayern have a host of players that can hurt us, like Lowendowski and Granby. so getting into shape quickly when we lose the ball will be important.
And one thing is that, this game is a must not lose game, we need to make sure that we donβt lose the game. our defence should man mark Lowendowski to nullify their threat.

And remember some where writting him off when we signed him last summer. i remember how much useless was Kovacic at the Chelsea page. here he is first forward some 7 months he is our most important midfielder if not player. he has the highest dribbling success rate in a league that has so many technically gifted players. he who laughes last loves longest.?

Aside from the wing-backs factor, we have also players who have remembered how to play their game, for instance, Kovacic rediscovered his best form for some time now, Mount has also rediscovered as well as Jorginho seems to be coming back to form. interesting is that exactly this time last year he went out of form for 3 months and the team suffered, and around late February and early March that he returned to form and the team picked up form. we are witnessing similar thing this season. once Jorginho is in the mood, the whole team plays better.
Kovacic has had the highest dribbles in a game against Spurs. Mount has had his best game for 4 months, what was interesting was the trademark runs that he has been making behind the Spurs defence. Alonso offers setpieces and goal threat that others don’t offer. and Giroud offers us a focal point in attack when our opponents play compact.

24th February 2020 at 1:17 pm in reply to: Week 27: Turn it on at HT and turn it right off again… #74765Looks like this thread has gone south, and it won’t be long before the tribal clashes start. we may not know whether it has happened or not whether Rudiger heard somwthing he thought was racial slur, or whether it was a misunderstanding. he did the right thing by reporting. and if the authorities say they have seen no evidence, then we should better keave this matter there. or else we risk more clashes. this racidm topic is very sensitive and we need to be careful.
I’m just stating my honest opinion. anyone who is proven to have committed racism needs to face punishment. others are innocent until proven guilty.

What did they say about VAR apart from admitting they have made a mistake?
