I’m talking about the impact he may have on United. he will have an impact. but still united need another creative to player to complement him, Pogba and Lukaku. whereas if he goes to City, he will be playing alongside Aguero one of the deadliest finishers, KDB the most creative midfielder in the league, Silva the best passer in the league. on the other flank Rahim Sterling is having a stellar season. if you are among the chasing pack, and you harbour the ambition to win the league. you would not want him to join City. this season City is on another level, and getting Sanchez will make the job for the chasing pack even more harder. he will improve United and Chelsea. but will not take them above City. whether City can maintain their standard is another matter though.

Just compare that with him joining City and playing alongside KDB and Silva? United aren’t as creative as City. that is why i said the lesser devil.

Personally i would prefer if Sanchez joins United over City. if he joins United, then he will make little difference and United like us need a rebuilding. i would be worried if he joins this City side. it would make what was a difficulty in toppling them even harder. because City will create loads of chances and he will finish. so i’m a little bit happier with him joining the lesser devil in United than City. that is my personal opinion, United fans will have their say. but for him to join City will be bad for the league.

I don’t think if i will have Kane ahead of Suarez Maverick. I think Suarez is a class act both domestically and in Europe.

I think you are locking out some pretty good players from your club Maverick. Ronaldo, Suarez, Cavani, Silva,Vidal. and when Chelsea signed Makalele he was 30. and we all know what a signing he turned out to be. Edwin Vander Saar was 35 when United got him. remind me how important he has turned out to be? Andrea Pirlo was 31 when Juventus signed him. remind me how important he turned out to be?

I’m not concerned about Conte’s answer about Sanchez. i heard many times Conte say about similar when questioned about the transfer. he reluctantly confirmed that Chelsea are not in for Sanchez. as his wage demands are insane. personally i won’t be concerned about if he goes to United. it will be interesting to see what happens with United’s pursuit of Griezmann?

I think Sanchez wanted City but was persuaded by his agent to ask for more money. if they don’t pay you just start a bidding war between the two Manchester teams and Chelsea, and don’t rule out Real Madrid to enter the race. which has terribly backfired. now United is the only team i can remember who is in for him or just say the only team that is ready to give in to his demands. as both City and Chelsea become smarter. he should either go to United, or lower his demands or sign a new contract at Arsenal.

It had been a bad week for me. i have fallen from grace. from position 1 to position 7 is unacceptable. i had to bounce back next week.

I can see why Chelsea would not want Sanchez. A Β£400k P/W salary, Β£20m signing fee for Sanchez, Β£10m for his agent. and on top of that Β£35m for Arsenal. all of this for a 29 year old player who spent sulking all season? no thanks ! i can’t see Chelsea going anywhere near him now or in the summer.

According to the reports both City and Chelsea are reluctant to give in to the Sanchez wage demands which is said to be Β£400k a p/w. and his agent fees which is believed to be Β£5m. on top of that Arsenal is demanding Β£35m for him.

Fake news isn’t an issue only in football. it has been an issue in politics also. in America, in France and other European countries had been an issue. now but when it comes to football is normal for papers to speculate. for example if a player who is linked with Chelsea travels to London, not even for a football related issue, the press when add the dots and come up with a story. sometimes they guess accurately and sometimes they miss woefully. i don’t think if we should be stressing with that. Liverpool have just sold a great player and pocketed an incredible Β£142m. so its normal for teams to link them with every good player.

Note: there are also those who use fake news to make money.

You won’t find many better class players than Zidane. in his prime he was a joy to watch. and what i liked about him is the fact that he was always humble and never been as arrogant as these footballers of nowadays. i would have him ahead of Maradona as Maradona was a cheat. Zidane’s achievement was purely down to hard-work and individual brilliance. he is my number one footballer in the last 50 years. although i can’t say that 100% as my colleagues who watched football in the 80s,70s and 60s will have their say. but for me while i was growing up he was my number one footballer, closely followed by Ronaldo9. Also Ronaldinho was good although he has peaked too early. but Zidane was a class on his own.

Based on our current struggles and the fact that we are having difficulty in breaking down teams that sit and have 10 men behind the ball. i don’t think if Assensio is the right man we need. i would say on our current needs, Isco is the man we need and we should be demanding him, and at the start of this season Isco had one year left in his contract, i don’t know what has happened since then. if Isco hasn’t signed a contract by now we should be going for him. surely he will be a very useful help to Morata and he will be the key to unlock so many defences in the PL.

I think Matic will be 30 this summer, and he hasn’t had the impact that the Media and football pundits had been predicting. he has been a help but not that much. besides that Chelsea wanted long time replacement and got young Bakayoko. well he may not be Matic or close to his level. but once he settles the league and adapts to his surroundings. he will be an asset. he is only 23 yrs old. and new to the league at similar age Matic has been spending loan after loan. so the players that i would say if they left for United are HAzard, Costa, Courtois, Fabregas, Azpi, Kante, Alonso, Christensen. but Matic for me was right to be moved out. although he was shipped quicker than Conte would have liked. Conte wanted him to move once Bakayoko settles. because if Matic stayed it would have aided Bakayoko settling in. and let us not forget that United wanted Willian, but Chelsea said big no and he stayed. we keep players we want and sell those we are happy to sell, regardless of the impact they have on the opposition. we are Missing Costa more than Matic. we are keeping clean and our defence is second or may be third best. so we are not missing MAtic. we are Missing Costa’s goals.

I think you will find out that Klopp has always been class act. you don’t win back to back Bundesliga titles ahead of Bayern in 2010/11,2011/12. he has built Dortumand and nearly won the CL for them. he is a manager who wears his heart from his sleeves for the team. alongside Conte and him are the two most passionate managers. and as a football fan its the kind of manager you would want leading your team. if Klopp had the resources that Pep and Mourinho enjoy, then Liverpool will win the league. his style of play is very pleasing for the eye. i think personally i like him, alongside Pep they are two gentle man, and you will say i’m biased but Conte is also gentle man a very likable character. the only real issue for Klopp is getting the best out of the Liverpool defence. and according to my understanding, the signing of Van Dijk is one step to address that. once that one is completed. you will win the league. although i would say it grudgingly, as that will be at the expense of my beloved Chelsea.

IF Hazard wants to join Real Madrid, he should say it publicly like Ronaldo did it back in 2008. i will have no problem as long as we get Β£150m and above. that can buy us like for like replacement. and i won’t mind if Real Madrid throws some players who could be useful to us ala Assensio or Isco. as for Courtois we have already started the process to replace him. i think the club know his position and is preparing life without him. for me he can be replaced. we have replaced Cech who was the best keeper the PL has seen since Peter Schmeichel. and i see no reason why we can’t with Courtois. but that said i will be happy if both sign plus we retain Conte.

First of all he has been playing superbly of late. and when you consider that he has been out for one year through injury and had been a regular occurrence, you will appreciate that he has completed games on regular basis in the last few weeks. and his assist to Sanchez’s third goal against Palace was a class. he has also scored against Chelsea, that is not bad for a player who often spends his time on the treatment room. he is a classy player who needs a manager who takes him to the next level like Sterling and KDB, Salah, Coutinho has benefited from working with better managers. whether that manager is Wenger or not is another matter.

This has to be the most entertaining match that i have watched this season. Both teams have lived up to their reputation as attacking teams. Liverpool have been clinical infront of goal. And City has been very poor at tue back. It was the City of last season. Good going forward but poor at the back. I haven’t seen so poor this season. Without Coutinho Liverpool have beaten City. What does that say about their firepower?
