Liverpool rocking the Pep cage. I can’t remember anytime when a Pep led team was 3-0 down at half time. City has been second best in every area of the football tonight. Again can’t remember any Guardiola team ever out classed in a game like today. Kudos to Klopp the man got his tactics spot on. And this man Salah? Well he is a demon from another plannet.?

This is a very interesting game. i see most of the media pundits are writing off Liverpool. when they met on Jan 14 this year, i cautioned everybody that its too early to write off Liverpool. and now i caution others to be careful. Liverpool know how to summon passion when needed. playing against this City is never easy. but Liverpool have already beaten them. i have friends from both side of the divide, and i would be playing my cards close to my chests. i don’t want to upset some of my friends. but whoever advances will have my support. finally Pep is hitting the heights he was hitting at Barca. congrats to the City fan base. if you beat United the trophy will be yours. although Mourinho will do everything in his power to delay that party. I understand for a City perspective, winning the title infront of their sworn enemies will be the best feeling a City fan can have.

The most inform team in the league at the minute. its difficult to find any fault in their game. Eriksen, Alli, Son, Kane Vetoghen, they are a great team. and Pochettino is one of the best young managers. fair play to them

That is a bit early to compare him to Messi. but there is no doubt that Salah is on the right track to reach that level. scoring 28 league goals in his first season back in England is not easy feat to achieve. clearly he is in the form of his life. the favourite for the PFA and FWA awards. and possibly short listed for the Ballon D’orr. that is a fantastic feat to achieve. but still not in Messi level though.

That is classic Mourinho trying to deflect the attention from the poor performance. nothing more than that. and if you look at the truth, what he is trying to say is true. this is not the first time United had been knocked by a team lesser, Porto did and Sevilla did. what is the difference? in both times the United had been knocked out. and he is right.

United have no one but themselves to blame for in this defeat. they wanted to win the game, anything other than that would be a disaster, and you play Felliani in that midfield. he should have replaced Lingard straight at halftime, two he should have moved Sanchez over to the wing. because that is where he is more effective, and moved Rashford as a second cf in 4-4-2 formation. Motntella’s subs has has a am impact, and Mourinho’s subs didn’t have any impact on the game.

The right call in my opinion. Southampton has been going backward since his appointment. he doesn’t know what to do. and there are rumours that Marco Silva will be in line to replace him. sensible appointment. surprised that no team have gone for him still.

If Caragher has apologized then we should accept it. after all he is a human like us. yes what he did was horrible and he shouldn’t have done. but people are judging him like a priest. he is a pundit, who like all of us has affiliation to a club. and not to mention the rivalry between the club having been an ex Liverpool player. we can’t read this too much from this incident, it was purely the heat of the moment. John Terry did this in 2011, Luiz Suarez did it. and if we have forgiven them. why not Caragher who has done a fraction of what they have done.
He should have avoided what he has done. but its now done and dusted. personally i would remember him as classy defender as a player, and a classy pundit who never took the radical positions that the Neville brothers took at a times. he was an open minded. Sorry Jamie you are better than that.

Again there is this issue. ok a player may want play for a certain club in a certain City. but his family fails to settle in that city. will the player stay and sacrifice his family happiness? i think it may be no. nowadays players wives has more influence than their agents even. and that is why clubs are always in trouble unless they are Barcelona or Real Madrid.

I don’t think Champions league qualification alone is enough to sway players decision these days. its only a small fraction. nowadays the Salary at hand, the climate of the City and the position you play on players hold the key. that is why players will always choose Spain over England. prestige aside, several factors dictate players joining a club. and i have also forgotten the families are big part of the players settling a certain location. for instance Di Maria could settle at United because his wife couldn’t settle at the City. you now have Courtois wanting to return to Madrid, Costa wanting back to Madrid.
