Well Loftus Cheek has made the England squad. and that reflects the season he has had under Roy Hudgson. also its a message to Chelsea that he is ready to be in the first team. i will be disappointed if he isnβt given a proper chance to show what he can do next season.

I don’t think if City conspires with the media. you will say the media has a soft spot for Pep where ever he managed. and then again i hate to say this but its down to his dignified approach. whereas others are disliked purely for their own personality. City have won twice in the last 6 years. and you can’t say all had been conspiracy. i totally have to disagree with you there. this season City came out the guns blazing, where ever they have gone they went for the win. ok you may say Mourinho and Conte had problems of their won, and were distracted.
Conte never came back from the holiday. the Conte we knew in 2016/17 was no more there. all his mind was distracted by factors outside his control. as for Mourinho. well the man loves to create controversies. and while it has benefited his team in the past. its clearly having a negative impact now. times have changed and the siege mentality that worked between 2004-2012 no longer works. and since the emergence of Guardiola and Klopp the the pragmatic approach of football has been declining. a change of tactic could be helpful that is why you see teams now are rushing to appoint Mauricio Sarri or Luis Enrique. its purely for their expansive football and all attacks.
As for the Syria issue. its a complicated issue. and one that you and i will never ever understand why its happening. my heart bleeds for the innocent people of Syria.

While i do understand where you are coming from. i’m not a believer of conspiracy theories. in my opinion City had won the league deservedly this season whilst breaking all records available. both United and Chelsea had their fair share of problems this season. but take nothing away from City. they had everything, goals, possession, style of play. they had been entertaining to watch. and being the first team to ever the reach the 100 mark caps off their fantastic season. i hope teams raise to the challenge next season. i’m hopeful there will be some competition.

There is no doubt that we have a good squad individually. and on paper we can compete with any team. but functioning them together as a group has been our Achilles this season. there are areas that our squad isn’t good. for instance we don’t have the battering ram we traditionally had up top over the years with Costa and Drogba both being that type of striker, which Morata and Michy weren’t. secondly we never had that physical presence in the middle which we had over the years with Ballack, Essien, Matic and others. Bakayoko is a promising player but he is not in the level of those player i have mentioned. he is young and was injured when we signed him, which subsequently costed him the preseason and was rushed back.
Also we didn’t had leaders especially at the back. Rudiger,Christensen are both young players. our most senior defender is Cahill. and whilst he is good he is not Terry. we are have also lost the influence of Petr Cech over the years. and while Courtois has done well, he is still not influencing his defenders whereas Cech would influence and direct them. also our board has been so stubborn to listen the manager in the summer. again that doesn’t absolve the manager from any blame. he has his fair share also. his constant outbursts which affect the team moral. and his infamous sms to Costa, a time when the club hasn’t found the replacement. which put the club in to a state of panic. and clubs took advantage of that to charge us higher price for their players. for instance Everton started to demand β¬100m, Real Madrid started to demand β¬80m. the board also overruled him in the Matic sale. very poor from Roman.
And finally, i can’t have any complains about the 4 teams that finished ahead of us. they had a better season. even-though we pushed them till the wire. there was always a feeling that it was a big ask to finish in the top 4

Couple of things here. first congratulations to Spurs and Liverpool confirming their participation in the CL next season. it was a well deserved effort. two congratulations to Mohamed Salah for winning the league top goal scorer. we never deserved to finish above the teams that finished ahead of us in the table if iβm honest.
Good luck to Liverpool for their CL final game in two weeks time. as for us. going back to the drawing board. where we finished reflected our performances this season. let us see what the next season brings. potentially a new manager and few changes in the playing staff. and hopefully we may be back. but i have my doubts about that. resolving this mess will be difficult and messy.

There is also a few lads that go after posters, and its that kind of confrontation which i’m not comfortable. mindful what happened last year that led to the suspension of my account. i’m never at home debating with certain posters. i hope the new man will lift the doom and gloom atmosphere like Conte did. but its such a shame to lose a coach that set a record only bettered by this outstanding City team

I have been a massive supporter of Antonio Conte and still i’m a supporter.but equally i had been one of his critics when it comes to his handling of our transfer issues. I feel he should have kept his head down and worked hard. Or in worst case scenario walked out. That is the one criticsm i would give him. I have never doubted his professionalism and integrity as a coach and as a person. But some how i feel that he has been distracted by other factors. His power struggle with the club, his infamous war of words with Mourinho, the David Luiz issue, the Costa issue. His mind has been pre occupied by issue outside his control. And while i do understand his frustration, i will not blame the club alone, the coach also needs to take responsibility. Now if the parties has to sort their differences, there should be a change of attitude on both sides. The last thing i would want is a repeat of this season next time. I want the Conte of last season. I also urge the club to back the coach in order to compete with our rivals._____________________________

Salah has won the Liverpool player of the year. N.Kante has taken the Chelsea award. While D. Degea has taken the United award. I can’t have any complains about those 3 players. I assume KDB may have won the City award. I need our City friends to confirm that. And our Spurs friends need to confrim who has won their Player of the season award. Kane or Eriksen? And who has won the Arsenal award?

Personally i can’t see that happening, but in football never rule out anything. I prefer Southampton to stay than Swansea. I feel Southampton under Mark Hughes will do well. Stoke must be cursing their luck now. One team’s lose is another’s gain.

Great to hear that Brain. I would love to be a loyal fan like you in the future if i’m blessed with long life, i’m well in to my late 20s. And i hope you have enjoyed every bit of this season. As for next season. It would be a different game. With both Arsenal and Chelsea changning managers, United spending, Klopp building on the successful season that Liverpool had, and finally Spurs moving to a new stadium. Things could ve complicated. But i expect you guys to be the team to beat.

I can’t see Conte staying at Chelsea next season. the relationship between him and the club is broken, even beyond repair. and i can’t see either of the parties climbing down from their positions. my understanding is that his contract will be terminated by mutual consent. it will be a shame to lose such a gifted coach. but everyone at the club needs to have a hard look at themselves. including Conte, the players and more importantly the board. we never deserved to finish ahead of the four teams that finished ahead of us. for the board, they should take the responsibility of not giving the coach the players he has requested.
The coach has to take responsibility once the board didn’t give him the players he wanted. he should have either walked out or put his head down and worked hard to to attain the objectives of the club. instead he started washing his dirty with the club in public. which affected the players mind set. he started sulking at a crucial stage of the season. and we never recovered from there then. the players also need to take part of their responsibility. hard to make a case for Chelsea this season, when our top scorer has 12 league goals. we can’t deserve to finish in the top 4. where do we go from here? well that is an interesting question. its up to Roman and the senior hierarchy of the club to decide.

Honestly speaking we don’t deserve to finish in the top four after the season we have had. i’m even surprised that Liverpool and Spurs are still within our reach looking back they had been in tremendous form. but if by luck we nick the top 4, i will be happy but will not be satisfied.

Great player and a great servant for City. he was the best in the division until 2014/15 season when he has started to show signs of decline. and he was very much heart beat of the City City team that has won the 2011/12 and 2013/14 seasons titles. not to forget the winner he has scored against United in 2011 FA Cup semis which gave City players the belief to go for the title the following season.

Pogba isn’t overrated for me. he is a talented player. but has too many distractions other than football. the sooner he focuses his football the better for him and United.

For me the manager of the year has to go to Guardiola. he has won the league whilst breaking multiple records. and is on course to break that 100 point barrier. Sean Dyche has been good. but i see nothing special with him. yes they will finish in mid table. but nothing more than that.
