Anyone here watched the Mesut Ozil’s interview with David Ornstein? i have to say i have felt sorry for him after listening his side of the history. the way the press and fans treat him is disgraceful and not always fair. he is one of the most creative players in the league. but they always signal him for criticism when some other players do worse job in their clubs and never get mentioned even. he said” if we don’t do well in a big match, it’s always my fault”. i think Ozil lacks the right coach who can put an arm around him and protect him. he will thrive if given the freedom to do what he does best. even Germany are not the same team they were without his creativity.

But they lost the away fixture 3-1 isn’t it? i’m not definitely saying City will lose this weekend. but there is a game to watch there. Palace has already beaten United away, and is 6th in the table. but if the right City turns up for that game. i can see a comfortable win for them. but will they?

People seem to be giving all of their thoughts about the game between United vs Liverpool and rightly so as this game would have broken the tv viewers record had this been played 7 years earlier when Ferguson was there and United had the confidence and arrogance. but still you can 100% rule out a fallen giant.

But i’m surprised that no one is speaking about about the Palace vs City game? let us not forget it was this fixture that City has lost their winning steak two years ago. and with Palace flying high, and the morale at City camp all time low. you can rule out anything. but for the sake of the competitiveness i want a City win as well as a Liverpool to make sure United drop back.

They would have appointed Giggs in the first place. because he seems to had better understanding in coaching the team. that is one trick that United missed. now if you want a new caoch go and grab the Liepzeg manager. that young man is doing well in Germany. next Klopp?

The Ferguson match fixing claims are character assassination at best. there is no way that Ferguson would engage with such low act. he is better than that. i’m not one of his biggest fans, but he is the most successful manager in English football. he pays £30k to have a hair cut.

Basically, Ole’s work has been cut out. nobody is giving them any chance against United. and i think he needs to seize this opportunity to motivate his players. “ok guys, nobody is giving us any slightest if chances. so go out and do whatever you need to do”. Mourinho would have relished in thus under dog tag and fired up his players for the occassion. but inexperience at top level management could cost them.

Playing against a Newcastle side who are fighting for their lives, and buoyed by their recent giant killing results against United and Spurs is never an easy task. especially after the international break and with the number of injuries we have on top of what we already had. and they have young players who come through the system and have the passion and drive required. i think i’m worried about this match more than i care about the United vs Liverpool match.

But, i will still very much would like to see a Liverpool win. at this minute United are closer to us than we are closer to Liverpool. so i want United pushed back down the table. but first we need to do our job and overcome a rejuvenated Newcastle.

Mourinho to Spurs? can’t see that happening at the minute. after managing two of the deep pocketed clubs in the league at Chelsea and United and in each case complained about transfers. at Spurs he won’t have the luxury of the cheque book. as Levy is known to be stingy unlike Roman and Woodward. but if he can regain his magic in coaching. he will be an asset. he was one of the top 5 coaches in the world until he went Real Madrid. and since then, his career has taken a different turn.

Hey! have we forgot the thread should be the weekend games? and not whatever may have happened at the international games. no matter what happens players would continue to dive. whether you call it out or defend it. it’s irrelevant, they will do everything in their power to pull a rabbit out of the hat and win some advantage for their team.

Whilst i would concede that Michy deserves more minutes than he gets at present. you have to look at other things not only goals. the workrate, the hold up play, the energy, the physicality and so on. and i have to admit, Michy cannot match what Abraham brings at present. Abraham has a first class workrate, physical sharpness, and desire to close down the defenses. and you would say 8/8 in the premier league plus 1/2 in the champions league is an excellent record. you can’t bench such a striker. Michy needs to work out his hold up play and his workrate. but he will always be an important player to have on the bench. and as we head in to the festive period, he will have more opportunities.

I’m glad it’s back and the boring international week is behind us now. i’m looking forward to the Newcastle game. but i’m nervous about our injuries. we still have 2 of our 3 out and out CMs injured. which means Lampard has to try Ross Barkley there. a midfield trio of Jorginho,Barkley and Mount will be too attacking. but Willian’s workrate will cover a lot. Zouma and Tomori will be our CB pairing. fullbacks will be Alonso and Azpi. Hodson Odoi to start. come on you blues!

England have scored some what 30 or closer goals in qualfiers and in Saturday i was reading on twitter some England fans calling Southgate to be replaced? that is insane! when you consider the number of goals that England have scored and the performances had been first class apart from that Czech game.

Please can we sue Southgate for sending us the Ross Barkley’s look alike? because this is not the Ross Barkley i see at Chelsea. anyway it’s just a joke, great performance for the England team so far. much better improvement from last time.

Big night ahead for England tonight. i’m an actually nervous about our players since we already had more injuries than we would have liked. i would be glad if Southgate decided to drop all of our lads. i know i’m harsh and selfish to my English colleagues here like Nine and Nil. but still that is how i would like. a win win situation would be England win and no Chelsea player features it. i’m also anxious about our other players like Jorginho who is one of our most important players. i hope now that Italy have qualified, they would opt to rest him.

This has to be our worst International break. 3 key players are injured already. and we are only in the first matches. we don’t know what the other matches will bring also. we lost Kante, and you would have said Kovacic could play in his absence. he is also injured. and Christensen is injured which means we only have 2 fit CBs, plus one out and out CM player in Jorginho. Frank has a big task ahead of him once the PL resumes. fingers crossed that one or two returns from their injury.

For the first time a decade Spain is lacking an outstanding player or at least on par in quality with others. but still teams are scared to take the game to it. before they had been blowing teams out in the first half. now they are labouring. and Kepa is looking to have ousted De Gea as the first choice at Spain.

Well, you will still be where you are now. swap Foden for Rice for example. can he offer that protection to the back four that Busquets and Kante offer to their respective nations? the answer is no, because he is creative enough for sure, but he is too lightweight. likewise Mount is also lightweight. you need 3 players that compliment each other, and i’m not sure if Mount and Maddison could compliment each other as they play in the same position. at this minute and his tender age, i would blood Mount little by little. the same applies to Foden also as he hasn’t played enough games for City. but definitely i would have benched Rose and Henderson and replace them with players who can do a job like Chilwell for Rose and Winks Henderson.

The England midfield needs a bite. it’s not about creativity alone as people here are crying. the 3 midfielders that Southgate picked yesterday didn’t compliment each other. at right back i would also play TAA. he is fast and quicker than Tripier. drop all those out of form players ragardless of their status and club. if i was Southgate i would have started with 4-3-1-2 diamond. where i would pair Kane with Abraham and play Barkley in behind them. i would draft Winks to replace Henderson. and play Madison alongside. or swap places between Madison and Barkley.
