Both Chelsea and Liverpool benefited the VAR decision today.

Second win of the group, and second clean sheet in a row. our second choice striker coming off the bench to score the winner. i couldn’t ask better. and this was billed to be our toughest away game of the game. hats off the Pulisic, Zouma, Azpi, Jorginho, Kovacic who played out of their skin. once again Zouma proving his worth to Frank and rewarding his faith. and Kovacic, i was one of his critics, but i have eat a humble pie and admit that he is one of our best central midfielders in league on current form. Alonso didn’t do any wrong, i hope Lampard sticks with him until he is out of form. Hudson Odoi is a talented winger, but his decision making needs to improve. Pulisic is looking like the player we hoped he will be.

I have the Serie A league use VAR in he last 3 seasons. and i have not hear one single complains about it. i wonder why are the teams in the premier league struggling with it. does that have to do with the understanding of the system referees? may be they are not familiar with the system and needs time to understand. or do Serie A have better people to operate with the system than the premier league does?

If you ask me my opinion about this tournament, i would say they would be a negative views. because i don’t want my club to lose focus at this very stage where we are on a rebuilding process of the squad and the management. we can’t afford too many games which may likely result too many injuries.

Lucky
I would love you to be right. but, it’s still too early to count our chicks. at the minute we look good for a place in the top 4. as is Leicester also. but it will be a mistake to write off Spurs, Arsenal and even United at this early stage.

You have to accept that things will not always go in your way always. sometimes the VAR mistakes may affect your team. by the letter of the rule, the VAR took the correct decision in both incidents. the Mane goal was correctly ruled out for hand ball, and the Origi foul was a soft foul at best in my opinion. yesterday Liverpool were not at their best. and Klopp was using the Fergie trick to distract the media from his team’s performance.

There is little or nothing to choose between the two teams in the first eleven. but on the bench is where City edges Liverpool. the quality bench players like Jesus, Fernandinho, Sane, Gundogan is a luxury that Liverpool do not enjoy. and you have to give credit to Klopp for competing at this level. he has 11 good players, but his bench doesn’t compliment his starting eleven. on Sunday, they had one player missing from that 11 and they have dropped points.

βIt was a really good game, happy for the team, had a strong performance, they defended really well, and I was happy to make an impact,β
βI was going to shoot last-second, but I saw Tammy wide open and then DeAndre made an unbelievable block, so maybe I should have shot it. βI just donβt have that scoring touch but I know it will come back.β
β[Lampard] told me to do exactly what Iβm doing now, continue to train hard, when I get my opportunity I have to take it,β
Christian Pulisic

Mak, i think this kind of things happen in football. and i thought both decisions were spot on. but anyway i still feel you guys have goals in your side.

VAR seems to be worsening by the day. more errors that it was supposed to solve exist. i think it’s high time that people are trained who are independent from the current set up.

Salah out but Degea is deemed fit to play. if i was a United fan, i would be praying for Mane to have missed this match than Salah. this season Mane is the one that is doing all the business for Liverpool.

Well, i have to say that win could be the catalyst of another City run. the way they dominated the game with only two recognised defenders on the pitch is amazing.
As for the Lancashire rivalry, i would say, if United goes at halftime whilst the game is 0-0, they they would be buoyed by that and will sit deep to take a point. but my money is on Liverpool to win it.

Well, i have to say that was the biggest goal of the season for us. thank you Alonso. but hats off to Zouma who marshalled that defence brilliantly today. and everyone was working hard. i liked whatever i saw from Pulisic today. and he was unlucky not to have a goal or an assist. well done boys. focus turns to Palace vs City.

God! how many more injuries would we have to contend with this season? yet another player out injured?

Alonso is stupid to react like that. now he has put himself under pressure for the rest of the game.

Kepa Arrizabalaga
Marcos Alonso
Fikayo Tomori
Kurt Zouma
Cesar AzpilicuetaJorginho
Ross Barkley
Mason Mount
Willian
Callum Hudson OdoiTammy Abraham
Not sure how accurate that line up is. but that is what i saw at Livescore. if accurate Lampard decided to take the game to Newcastle. and from the look of it, it’s 4-3-3.

Well, Everton are showing fighting spirit and determination to fight for their boss. but the hammers are pressing for a equaliser. the media to have put back their knives for another 45 minutes for Silva. so far Everton are impressive 11 shots can you imagine?

Mav, here is the hypocrisy of that. if wages and performance are judged to relate. how come i don’t see the media treating Sanchez and other underperforming top earners similarly? i’m not saying Ozil is completely perfect, but i see where he is coming from.

Yeah Lucky, there is no dispute with that. but still a win is a win at the end of the day.
