It’s not that this Chelsea team have come out of the block and hit the ground running and started winning games. Chelsea have already lost 4 games this season. we have lost twice at home, but we are still moving in the right direction. we are not yet where we want to be. for example our players are too inexperienced to face top six teams. also our defence is improving but still there are moments of lapse in concentration and we are conceded 17 goals already this season. so it’s not where Frank wants them to be.
I have to say, that i’m surprised with Abraham, Tomori and Mount and how quickly they have settled. goal scoring has been our problem in the last two seasons. we seem to have resolved. we were dependent on Hazard in the last two seasons, yet this Frank team goals are coming from every corner. Can this Chelsea football club improve? probably yes! will we have rouggh times? yes at some point. but right now the signs are positive.

I can’t believe people are criticising Delle Alli. the last two points has been won by two goals scored by Alli. and he scored 2 of his last 3 games. but still he gets criticised?

I think many are not giving the credit he deserves, but Zouma has been outstanding in the last few weeks. and should he sustain this form and the partnership he has formed with Tomori. i think it will be difficult for Rudiger and Christensen to regain their positions. and i can’t believe that i would say this, given that Rudiger in particular has been our best defender also. also credit to Azpilicueta who has turned the corner in his season. he has returned to form. but part of that stems from the fact that Willian who tracks back is now giving him the protected he lacked at the start of the season.

Well, the curse strikes again yesterday, and it turns out it was Mike Dean of all people who was the video assistant referee yesterday. that explains why the decisions against the Chelsea and Liverpool games where a soft penalty was given against the wish of the referee and a legitimate goal was ruled out for offside which wasn’t. if we are to have the perfect system, let the decision be with the referee who is on the ground, and get a trained officials who will only deal with the VAR system, and not the match day officials doubling also as VAR assistants. two we need to have a screen for the referee on the ground where he can go and check like they have in Italy. and that is why you have less controversy in Italy than in England.

At this minute, Kovacic is there to stay. while it will be strange to say this. but i don’t think if Kante will walk back straight in to the team. Kovacic has been playing level not seen before. personally i don’t give monkeys whether he scores or not. but as long as wins the midfield battle, i’m content with his performances so far and he is the main reason why Jorginho isn’t exposed so far this season, and why our attacking players are thriving so much, because of his runs from the deep and his pace, he compliments Jorginho very well and has a good understanding with him.

Another masterstroke signing in kovacic which i never saw coming. when we signed him, i was in the camp that thought it was pointless in sining him him. now he is justify every penny of that £40m that was said that we have paid. or say €40m that some news outlets were reporting at the time. the way he was driving our midfield today was out of this world. he even earned Frank’s praise.

While in public i would blame the VAR inconsistency. in private i have to admit that our players had been naive in trying to play short passess in our own box. it was a stupid idea at best. i have to say, we need to pray Kante to return on time since Jorginho will be out. that Penalty had been in his mind when he was given that yellow.

Meanwhile, one ex so called arsenal legend by the name charlie-nicholas is still predicting how Chelsea will drop points. this is the third away game as far as i can remember in our last five away games that he is predicting points dropped for Chelsea such is his bitter resentment towards Chelsea football club. and we have silenced him our last three away games, he predicted against Wolves, against Southampton, against Burnley and in call cases we have scored 5 goals, 4 goals twice that is 13 goals. i love when this guy makes his biased prediction. one of our boys opens his PL account. against Wolves it was Tomori against Southampton it was Michy, against Burnley it was Pulisic. i wonder who will respond this time? my money is on Kovacic to respond who knows? just jokes aside, this guy cannot even be a professional football pundit.

I don’t understand where you are coming from. of-course Fabinho is doing fantastic at the minute and he is a vital cog in the Klopp’s system. but it’s still too early to compare him to Kante who has done it both in the PL and at world stage. yes the arrival of Jorginho has displaced Kante from doing what he does best, and at the minute he plays box to box. let us not forget that he is also excelling in that position also. as he has 2 goals 3 PL starts. and at a times Kante plays alongside Jorginho which gives us extra defensive insurance. any team in the world like to have in their team for sure. and as a Chelsea fan, i have say we are privileged to have in our side. at the minute he is having a fitness issues, and Frank says that comes with the cost of playing every game without a proper rest coupled with playing whilst injured in the Europa league final. that again comes with sacrifice and his personality. while Fabinho is serving up well for Liverpool at the minute. and if they win the league which they are on course to do. then they will look back and point the arrival of Fabinho, Van Dijk, Alisson and Salah as the one that pushed Liveprool to the extra mile.

I was reading from somewhere today, that Arsenal fans have booed Aubameyang. not sure how accurate those reports are. but if true, you have to question the Arsenal fan base seriously. why would you boo your best player? and why would you boo your own player in the first place. i would understand the later. but can you imagine Liverpool fans booing Salah? or Spurs fans booing Kane? or Chelsea fans booing Kante? or City fans booing KDB?
