I’m not sure if this place is the best place to discuss on this multicultural subject. it’s always sensitive and is likely to get out of hand. so enjoy the moment and this looks to be the year that you get the monkey off your back and win your 19th title and first in 30 years.and could be the first of many who knows??

Again VAR will divide opinions. but i thought many of the decisions they got it right this week apart from the Sheffield United goal. but one thing that is still concerning is the time they are taking to make a judgement and the match referee looks clueless about it.

Didn’t realised this but i heard someone say the last player to score at Stamford Bridge in the PL was Firmino. anyone here who can confirm this stat? if true that is some good news for our defence.

I thought that was a penalty. but the Salah goal was fine he was onside. so there is nothing to feel outragous.

It’s too early to write off Azpi at Chelsea. and his experience will be vital to us against a free flowing City._____________________________

Some players are on a good form. Zouma and Tomori are example. the return of Kante tightened the defence also. we had been attacking with 5 players and defending with 5 players. but Reece James was excelllent, i don’t think he will start againt City as we may need Azpilicueta’s experience in that game. i won’t be surprised if Frank switches to 3-4-3 with both Reece James and Azpi featuring Reece at RWB and Azpi at RCB.

I think if Emerson is fit, he will likely start. i can’t see Frank opting Azpi at Left-back. or he may be ahead of Alonso. again that is unfair to Alonso, he has been playing well until his last two games. and i hope will come back stronger and win his place back. but i can see Reece James taking over from Azpi somewhere in the middle of this season. and Frank is using him the same way he has used to integrate pulisic in to the team. i think Azpi’s contract runs out on 2020, or have i missed something here? we need pace and power to face Zaha and Reece James is the perfect. and keeping Willian on the right hand side will make sense, because Willian will help him defensively. i’m worried about their aerial prowess. they have Benteke and Ayew two big lads, and our record in set-pieces hasn’t been great lately.

Facing Palace is always very tough. they always raise their game when they face us. and this time they have our former Captain at the heart of their defence. Kanteβs return will be a bonus. also i would give Reece James a start and rest Azpi. Emerson returns. not sure with Mount if he misses, Hudson Odoi will be drafted in and Pulisic could move in to the no 10 or even Willian can play there.

Baring any catastrophic turn of events. i can only see a Liverpool win there. City are disorganised at the minute, and Klopp knows that. they have lost Ederson to injury last night. the best CB is also out. and you would think Pep would sit there do a damage limitation? no! he is not that kind of a coach. he will go for the win. which will play in to the hands of Liverpool with those lethal front trio they have. I think Liverpool will win, but will not keep a clean sheet it will be a high scoring game. but my money is on Liverpool to win.

Yesterday i witnessed the best way to use VAR at Santaigo Bernabeu, Real Madrid player was fouled in the penalty area and the referee at the time didn’t see the incident. but the VAR saw it and informed the on-field referee. then the on-field referee went to check the screen inside the stadium and checked. after that he came to the conclusion that it was a penalty and awarded it to Real Madrid while he booked the offender. that is the best way to use VAR it was still the on-field referee who was calling the shots as opposed to the third party that the Premier league uses. and yet the VAR was used with minimum disruption to the game.

I was only stating my individual opinion like any other person without signalling anyone for criticism. so i don’t know where you are coming from. honestly we are in a season of transition both in the playing staff and management. so there will be pumps on the road before we finally talk about where we should be. but Lampard and the boys are already ahead of scheduale. and credit should be given. and the football we are playing is great even better than last season.
Last season almost every Chelsea fan was crying for an attacking midfielder, CB, a striker, a RB and a winger. almost all has been solved without a single penny spent. credit to Lampard and his coaching staff. so in that sense i’m happy with how the things are going on.

Truth be told, we should be happy with where we are in relation to where we were when Lampard took over. the conditions were not favourable to him or to us. transfer ban, our best player sold, our best CB injured, our best attacking midfielder out injured, our best central midfielder out injured, some good players that could have improved the team out injured. so to be where we are now in November is totally a miracle.

You can see why Lampard has made Emerson our first choice LB. Alonso has defensive deficiencies that is becoming a problem to our left sided CB as it drags him out of position which then drags Zouma and Azpi also out of position. now let Lampard replace both of our fullbacks and Kovacic. because Kovacic looks tired.

Kepa Arrizabalaga
Marcos Alonso
Kurt Zouma
Fikayo Tomori
Cesar Azpilicueta
Marcos AlonsoJorginho
Mateo KovacicWillian
Mason Mount
Christian PulisicTammy Abraham
4-2-3-1 i assume will be that line up. although i would have liked Kante alongside Jorginho and rest Kovacic.

Well, it turned out that Anthony Taylor who was the match official the Watford vs Chelsea game was the VAR official at Everton vs Spurs game. and Martin Atkinson who was the match official yesterday was the VAR official on Saturday. what was ironic was there was a similar incident that was given against Chelsea yet both officials didn’t check. inconsistency will be the downfall of this VAR system.
Personally. i would like it to succeed as it will improve the game. but it will not improve the game at its current state. unless radical changes are made. one option that everyone was suggesting was the match officials to use the on field screen. yes it’s a good idea. but then again that could be the same unless some else is judging as the views of the on field referee will always remain the same.

If we go out and succeed in overturning one window. it means we are exonerated half of what we are accused right? nothing is overturned without some sort of exoneration. so that is what the club is thinking, it also affects our future should we be accused the club can point that we were once exonerated this kind of offence. so don’t underestimate these kind of things.

I can understand why the club would want to appeal. on top of being allowed to sign players, it would be also nice to exonorate ourselves from some of the blame. and that is why the club are pushing for this appeal._____________________________
