βYeah, of course.
“When I watch them, [there is] no Hazard but it is a party”.
“They can score a lot of goals, the fans are happy, they are third in the league, it is going to be a great season”.
They just need to stay there and win games.“We all know Willian, Jorginho they are very good”.
βAlso with the young players coming through, it is great to see the club high and I hope they can stay there”.
Eden Hazard

As you say it’s all about opinions and the only opinion that counts is the Lampard one. but i can’t remember Lampard dropping Mount this season.and i stated my preference there. Mount fits both sides of the argument, if we play pressing game, he is the best in doing so. and if we play quick counter attacking he is a good finisher and has the pace to run to the box. the one thing at City is that, we won’t face physical or defensive team. they will press us granted and try to force us into errors. and i hope Lampard doesn’t change the front 4 that started against Palace. Jorginho for Kovcic may be.

I would hate to lose Mount. people judge him because of his small body. the boy presses people like a hungry tiger. and he will force errors out of the blue. so i don’t agree with this 4-3-3 without him. on the contrary i would stay with 4-5-1 formation that includes him, Kante and Jorginho. then again i will be disappointed to lose Kovacic who i’m a massive fan. but Kante gets the team, Jorginho has these passes and he is our main penalty taker. and Mount presses better than any chelsea player. so the 3 midfielders will be Kante, Jorginho and Mount. out wide i would play Willian and Pulisic if fit, if not i would opt for Kovacic even.

Because there aren’t that much United boys around these days. i can only remember Mav and the Editor. we are the majority here. who would have thought that a year ago when we were very much in the minority?

“I have never been a full-fledged starter, but Chelsea is my club, thatβs where I feel at home. Itβs a club I love deeply”.
“When I was young, itβs true that I had some problems of discipline But what young person doesnβt? Today, Iβm 26 years old, I can channel myself and I work at training and in the game”.
Michy Batshuayi
That is the kind of attitude that you want to have when you are fighting for a spot in the first team.

Intersting that how Chelsea come close to signing Aguero when ge was at AM. only to see the deal vetoed by JT and the other influencial board members.
John Terry pulled plug on Chelsea’s move for Sergio Aguero before he joined Manchester City

It has been a successful international break on the Chelsea front so far. no injuries report as opposed to last international break, two of our bright sparks of the season have scored. Hudson Odoi made a return to the England fold. only God knows how much that will improve his confidence. Willian made a return to the International fold also. barring some late bad news. this has to be a successful international break. the only negative is the Pulisic injury so far.

Strange that Real Madrid is said to want Hudson Odoi next summer. that is a bit of unsettling news for a young player who has just returned from a serious injury and finding their feat at the team. and what he has at Chelsea is a regular first team game time, while at Real Madrid that is not guaranteed. the pressure there is too hot for a young shoulders. i hope this will not affect his concentration as we are entering the defining period of the season.

I know this may not be the best place. but i was disappointed with some of the conduct of the fellow blues in the thread that was closed. i think in the future we need to behave better since this is a general page. let us raise the bar very high. or else we will ruin every thread. that also applies to the other fans as well.

The Liverpool players who deserve most were included. the two fullbacks and Mane are outstanding as well as Van Dijk. Salah and Fabinho are good but not outstanding.

Chelsea has warned Jody Morris about his conduct, he was warned to show restraint when responding to criticism following the mocking of Mourinho by Morris. right decision from the club Imo. we need to be humble enough to take criticism.

I’m not sure if i agree with you on Sancho there. we have better wingers at the club. Pulisic is a better player both finishing and technique. so spending Β£100m on him is not an option for us. not even half of that. on top of that we have Hudson Odoi who can be as good as him if not better. and Lampardnis the right man to guide him. at the moment i would like us to get a fullback. Chilwell is very much welcome, him and James could be our TAA and Robertson?.

It will not be an easy game by any stretch of imaginations. whether City lost to Liverpool or not is irrelevant. playing City at home is always a tough match. what Guardiola does is that he overruns teams in midfield, and once you lose the midfield battle that is as good as the game has gone from you. Klopp new this and prioritized the midfield battle more than exploiting their weak defence. and once Liverpool midfield stood on their ground, gaps began to appear between the City midfield and defence. and that is where Liverpool have exploited apart from the first goal which was a wonderful goal. and that is what we need to do. our midfield need to stand its ground and force City to make errors. it’s not an easy task but it can be done as Liverpool has shown.

It will take a while for people to get used to this VAR thing. and the only thing that can cut its mistakes is to let the match official use the screen at stadium rather than rely on a third party to make a judgement. other than that, there had been good things that VAR has done. for example, Aubameyang’s goal against United was disallowed for offside by the linesman, and without VAR Arsenal would have left empty handed. there were also incidents that VAR has solved.

That Morris jab at Mourinho was an ill advised one. Mourinho was genuine with his opinions when he made those comments and he was right. i wholeheartedly agreed with on there. sometimes we need to be pragmatic about our tactics when facing quality opposition like City. and Mourinho is one of the best coaches in the world. and was a former Chelsea coach, may he was giving Lampard a coded message about where he needs to improve who knows? Morris shouldn’t have ridiculed him.

“In the first week i was worried about them. and now i’m still worried about their capabilities of playing against top teams. Frank has done fantastic job, but they were beaten twice by United, they lost at home to Liverpool, and they conceded 4 at home against Ajax. i would be interested to so how they approach. because they have some great players like Willian, Kante,Azpi and Kovacic. and the Young players are slotting very well. if they can get a balance between the good football they are playing and the pragmatism needed to play against top teams, they will have a great team. they cannot finish in top 2, because that is a step too far, but they can seriously finish in top 4.

I don’t think someone’s life should be threatened because of a football game. and i think that shouldn’t be justified. you don’t know the truama that those whose lives are threatened go through._____________________________

For me Liverpool won the game because they have worked out the City weakness, and the absence of the City defenders hasn’t helped them. Liverpool took their chances, and that is what wins you games, while City tried to play passing game. and tha Fabinho goal was a cracker. Aguero was poor today, the only bright spark was Sterling and Benardo. credit goes to Klopp he set a trap for them and they have fallen in to straight.
