Nice summary Rover. I think Chelsea should have enough now to see off Spurs. The 4 away games mught just be too much for Spurs. They also have Utd to come to White Hart Lane so their home games are far from certain either. Looks like we’re set for a tight finish anyway!

Completely agree Blaze. Lots of sleeping giants left in the Championship. Hope to see them back up at some point. Who do you support?
Rover, what about your boys? Is the title done and dusted?

Blaze Power,
Thanks for the feedback. We’re definitely looking to do more on Social Media. We should be getting some Social links up on the site soon too so our users can find us easier on Facebook too.

Rover Bond,
Sure, it would be great if you could spread the word. It will probably take a while to get the user numbers up to a decent level so we’re grateful for any help we can get from our users. We’ve just started a Facebook page to try to get the word out there. I’ll put up a link to the Facebook page later today. Many thanks for the offer

I agree about Leeds. Would love to see them back in the Premier League. They’ve been away for a long time but I think they’ll make it up eventually sooner rather than later. The question is whether or not their chairman will give the manager enough time in the PL or whether he’ll be tempted to bring in a bigger name.

Great first post Goonerfreak
I never thought I’d say this but I actually feel sorry for Arsenal fans now! I used to be one of those who defended Wenger as he always seemed to spend less than his rivals and still achieve Champions League football while constantly selling his best players.
The last few years though he has spent significant amounts of money and has still come up short. The excuses are getting fewer and fewer. I just can’t see a way out for him now. If he signs another contract there will be mayhem in the stands. What a potentially sad ending for a manager who initially brought so much to the game in England.

I fancy Utd to have a strong season next season too. I think City will be stronger and they will buy some good players this summer.
I’ll go with-
1. Utd
2. Spurs
3. City_____________________________

What a start from young Rashford. This wasn’t in the script!

Spurs look very strong I agree. Chelsea will do enough today I feel. A point, whilst reducing the gap, would be enough for them today. Their run-in is much better than Spurs’. Really looking forward to Utd-Che but so often these games fail to deliver. Let’s hope it’s a classic

@C.B Surely we want to see Leicester in the final? Now that would be incredible. Surely that would top the PL win?
I agree though, a Juventus vs Bayern final would be great

The mid-week games will be very important this week. This is the first time I’ve started to think it could go to the last few games. Previously there had been a lot of talk about potential record winning margins etc. The Chelsea vs City game is huge.

Welcome Rob! Good to have you on board. Who do you support? Thoughts on today’s results?
Liverpool looked strong again, as did Spurs. United again faltering at home. Chelsea the biggest surprise of the day, though.

Good to see you here mate!
Yes I think getting people to the site will prove the biggest challenge. It started off as a bit of a hobby project but I need to give it a go. I just need to think of how to get new posters on board. It’s a tricky one because, ideally, I need there to be ongoing discussions before I start trying to drive people to the site, but in order to get the discussions going, I need to drive people to the site!

Interesting thoughts. Tuchel would be a much better choice than Eddie Howe in my opinion
