They have played some decent stuff at times Threeps, I agree. The hype in the media though has been crazy and I don’t understand why.

Hang on Threeps, what? I was convinced Spurs won the league when they beat us 2-2 at Old Trafford a few weeks back. They even had more passes than us! The Spurs hype this season has been ridiculous, frankly. Spurs the title challengers are 2 points ahead of where they were at this point last season when Conte was tearing them to pieces for underachieving.

I’m with you Mikus. We have been awful at times. We seem to play much better when Martinez is in the team as, without him, we completely lack the ability to progress the ball through defence and the whole defensive line has to drop in and we go long instead. That’s just not good enough IMO from Ten Hag. He’s had enough time and money to ensure that reliance on Martinez shouldn’t be an issue. I don’t fancy us one bit for top 4. It would take an almighty collapse from Spurs for that to happen and they seem to be plugging away at the moment, getting the results they need.

Villa game a potential tough one for us. Newcastle and now Chelsea have been and done them over recently but they’ve generally been excellent at home.

Spurs Brighton could be interesting. Brighton having a bit of a blip but I fancy them at Spurs actually.

Agree about VVD Mikus. That’s why I don’t buy this excuse that he’s not been the same since his injury. A lack of desire and concentration has nothing to do with a previous injury. His jogging back for the last goal was embarrassing.

Liverpool have now won 1 out of 7 games against the big 6 and that was against an awful Chelsea side. Van Dijk again doing nothing to convince me he’s one of the best the league has seen 😁. Not the first shocker he’s had this season.

Yeah I’d sell Rashford Sean. Had enough of him now. Excellent last season and utter rubbish this season. You can’t rely on him at all. Maybe he needs a new challenge too. I still fancy him to go to PSG when Mbappe leaves and I think he’ll tear it up over there.

Yeah some great prospects coming through. Shea Lacey and Amir Ibragimov are two names to remember. They are going to be stars I think

Utd’s U18 team beat Liverpool last night to maintain a 100% record. 14 wins out of 14 is very impressive. This batch of youngsters looks like one of the best at the club for a long time.

Brighton’s form a bit concerning for them. They are prone to a hammering now and again, as good as they’ve generally been under De Zerbi. Still, I fully expect him to be in the running for all the top jobs this summer. Not only have they lost their two best players in the summer but they’ve also had a lot of injuries. Despite all that, they’re still 7th which is still excellent for them.

Didn’t expect that result at Villa Park. How have Newcastle hammered Villa twice considering both sides other results this season? It doesn’t make sense but that’s football for you. Olise developing into a real player for Palace. He’s going to be sought after this summer.
