Chucky-
Rom is 24, De Bruyne is 26 and this is first consistent season in England. Drogba did not kick on until his mid to late 20s.
In less than six full seasons in England, Rom scored 5 against Liverpool, 5 against City, 3 against United, 3 against Chelsea and 3 against Arsenal. These goals were largely scored for mid-table clubs too.
I may have misled you and many here. I am not Roms biggest fan. I believe strikers of his ilk are becoming extinct within top teams in the game. That goal scoring comparison to Drogba took me by surprise and if he does end up being a similar player to Drogba, then I am all for it.

What is happening in China is horrific. Do I buy products from China? Well majority of my products are from south korea or japan. Whether they were are made in china is a different issue. I am not asking people to boycott going on holiday to the UAE or City games because it never works and effects people away from those regions and places.
If you are going to wear a ribbon and work for people who have poor inhuman records, then do not contradict yourself. Why can’t we talk about 1 and not the other or human rights within the world in general. Pep just said I care about freedom and human rights, but if you pay me £20m a year, then who gives a shit about human right and freedom. And if you want to use China as a example, what the City owners are doing in Yemen and their own region is alot worse in comparison and yes that is something close to my heart, just like what is happening in China and many other regions.

Drogba was not just about scoring goals, it was his hold up play that was brilliant and his performances in big games. Rom has a long way to go to match that, but you cannot argue against his goal scoring record in comparison. Last Sunday showed glimpses of what he can potentially become.

“I have empathy with people who have no freedom. Anyone can be in that situation”
Pep on why he wears the ribbon.
Journalist mentions and asks-
“But Pep; you talk a lot about politics there. You talk a lot about freedom. You talk a lot about Sheik Mansour. Sheik Mansour is a leader in the UAR, which is criticised for not recognising freedoms and the right to protest. How do you reconcile that?”Pep replies-
“Every country decides the way (they) want to live for themselves. And if (they) decide to live (that way) themselves, it is what it is. I am in a country in which democracy is installed since years ago and I try to protect that situation”.
Supporting charities because of a severe illness is different to supporting a political cause about human rights and freedom for people and then turning a blind eye to the human right violations and war crimes towards one of the poorest countries in the world by the people who pay his wages. Like I said Pep has shown himself here. Catalan is very close to his heart, but this was bound to be brought up considering his hypocritical response.

PPT-
?
United main problem against Newcastle was in the final 3rd, they still managed 4/5 shots on target that day.
Arsenal against your lot was just embarrassing. The first 30 minutes today was equally as embarrassing, although they improved slightly afterwards.
Saying that after todays game, I am going to contradict myself here. People are being harsh towards Arsenal and disrespecting City slightly. City are just too good and it is not the fact that Arsenal have been poor. On both days City would have wiped any side the way they are playing.

Oh my, I thought nothing comes close to Arsenals joke of a performance on Sunday, this tops that.

I agree that sport and politics should stay apart, but I also believe Pep has shown himself up here. His response did not make sense. He is protesting over the independence of Catalan and people who have been prisoned over it. If tomorrow the people asked for democracy or a change in the UAE. The treatment towards Catalans from the Spanish would look lenient in comparison to what the Abu Dhabi government would do. Would Pep speak out or wear a ribbon then, something tells me a £20m a year contract would keep him quiet. Something also tells me that Pep would have been told not to wear it because of the negative reaction towards the people who pay his wages and not because of the FA.

Shambolic, time consuming and a absolute joke.
It could be a blessing in disguise too. Just get rid of it because it would put an end to the debate of needing video replay. It suits stop and start sports like Rugby and Cricket, where there the intensity and speed is no where near at football levels.

Nine-
I would regard someone as a youth player and a proper academy graduate who has been at the club for more than 5 years before signing a pro contract. McTominay has been at United since 2002, Lingard since 2000 and Rashford since 2005.
Chelsea and City have got a fair few good youngsters at the club. Reason why I said Peps record since leaving Barcelona has been poor, yet that could change with Foden. Same with Chelsea with Hudson Odoi and co.
United have got Angel Gomes and Tuanzebe, who are highly regarded. They also have got Chong, but considering he is signed at 16. I would not class him as a proper youth player.

This tweet is a fair few weeks old. Pep has a poor record giving youth a chance since leaving Barcelona. That could change though.

One thing I never understood about some on teamtalk is how loyal they are to the site. I remember reading one comment about a year back where one poster said he will continue posting until the site is filled with posters as he feels teamtalk needs the help they need at the moment. It is like they owe something to the website, with the editors or moderators being grafeful for having so and so posting. The sign is teamtalk have done very little in return in order to fix the forum. As soon as Homzy left, the forum was always going go on the wane.
To sum that website up. When I struggled to log in, I went to the forgot password link and it directed me to a error page. Registered again and was told I will reciece a activation link and recieved nothing. If some feel they are oblige to post on that site until more posters join, then they will be waiting a long time because nothing works. It is evident they do not care about the forum anymore because of the security flaws etc.

What annoys me the most is Sol Campbell coming on national TV talking about lack of black managers and how he has not been given a chance, to later reveal he does not even any coaching badges.

9th January 2018 at 2:41 pm in reply to: If Pep was managing this United side, would he have won the league title? #11799I don’t know, United could end up winning the FA Cup and Champions league, hopefully the almighty answers my prays, City will capitulate, with United winning the treble.

I have not had a look on there much over the months, last time I tried logging on it directed me to a page that told me my phone had a virus and needed a scan. Fair play to Chris, who on his own has created a well secured site, something he has learnt and developed from scratch. Teamtalk is a company that apparently has a IT team.
