Nine. I will tell you why City did not cooperate, in my view…why would they when the e mails were illegal obtained and do you or anybody know outside the Courts what was contained in them? They have done what there lawyers obviously directed them to do so not to prejudice there defence
This whole subject now has blown out of proportion now, it is done and dusted now, Millions have been paid on both sides for a legal battle that should never have started and there will be some people now from this outcome. Events similar to this happen in business every day, the lawyers get rich and a case is one or lost, then life moves on. I have been involved in some very high Court actions between multi nationals and the legal profession do not see the event in the same way as Joe Bloggs Due diligence applies to both sides and Der Speigels hacking source I do not believe was identified although I believe City may know the source from there own investigations.I think I will conclude may view on this because it will no doubt go on forever and I have better things to do in my life than discuss the rights and wrongs of an event that cannot be changed. I will look forward to the match on Wednesday now

Nine….it was always stated by City, from the beginning, that the club would have to self support after the project term was concluded. We are now on the second project but the effects of the first are beginning to show, that is because of City management not FFP. It is logical when you look at the last couple of years.We also now have youngsters coming through, albeit, slowly but they are there and have quality.This is highlighted in the Chairmans end of season presentation to the City fans, he has done this for a number of years and an example how a Chairman should operate and give the fans a no nonsense talk of what has happened and what we may expect Well worth a listen even if you are not a City fan, I have had other fans remark to me how good he is at his job

Threeps…I have stated many times , this is where we are heading. Super global leagues, not enough money in domestic competitions anymore. UEFA have not re acted to change when they had a chance now they are a worthless entity. Just watch some of those UEFA Execuives scamble for jobs now. The clubs and TV will do there own thing, I am not saying it will be liked, I, for one, will not like it and probably change sport then because I have no interest in City v New York or whoever

threes..UEFA made a mess of it because they are incompetent and should have been re structured years ago. I thought they were lucky to get anything out of it but they have to pay there legal team!!!! City need to be aware now, the sore will fester with UEFA for a time now and expect fines for trivialities….I know that sounds pathetic but that is what you have in UEFA. a pathetic lot

UEFA made the rules with a shaky foundation and now they have died by them. It reminds me of Bannier and the EEC who had all the “aces” over us and now struggles to come to terms he has to negotiate with an independent country and under pressure from EEC industry to do a deal. UEFA in the same position, they thought they had the armour with Der Spiegel but we all know how the media get there information. They, themselves have also been guilty in the past. Whatever anyone thinks and there are many who just wanted City to fail, we will never know what all the implications are, so we pass opinions on our own likes/dislikes which is not healthy. Fans do not need this. The order in football will change, like it or not and other investors will appear, some will be successful, many will not but the order will change and I suspect that this fact is what many do not like, more than the case itself

I would be tempted to say 0=0 for the London derby but I guess with two uncertain defences a goal will happen… I will stick my neck out 1-0 Spurs but I am hopeless at predictions so who knows what it will be……I will go for an own goal as well!!!!!

Well satisfied with team performance, not sure why we need to look for a CB now since garcia is growing into the position game by game and we still have another waiting, no doubt we will go for another with experience, do not think Stones will make it again, pity but thats life.

I think City will have a tough battle with Madrid , 1 goal difference may not be enough so we need to start scoring early, if not Madrid will be expected to take full advantage.All top teams now so we have to up our game again

I have said from the start…Technology ruined by humans….so what is the point? Things could get worse next season, I hope not but we are beginning to see major changes appearing now to the game. It has been said that the 5 Subs rule will stay next season, full bench next!!!!

Nine..I would not disagree with that if it was that simple. If it was an FA decision then all I am saying it should have been dealt with quicker whatever the conclusion, if the Police were not pursuing it then it is even more of a mystery why the FA did not act quicker, after all it would appear it is there rules that are effective. My guess is, they were clueless and sought advise to see how much clout they had. I do agree with you though that the act itself was wrong and you cannot have players acting in this way. However, the spectator {s} had a part in this as well, have the FA pursued them as well?

My question then would be. Was it a legal, club or FA offence….I cannot work this out……if it was a FA offence then he has broken some rule, OK, so why did they have to wait for the Police to intervene. Then again if it was a legal offence he will be charged accordingly. I am getting to old to work these things out
