I have just been digesting the transfer dees being asked for no more than journeymen players or “potential” Leicester know they can get more for Forfana, I do not blame them for that, the buying club always get the blame for paying it. A viscous circle that has no end. Big clubs pay more for a single player now than a whole team in the lower divisions. I would like to see that money spread out a bit more or more clubs will go bust in near future, although, I hear Bury are trying a come back…sad about there demise, one of the league founders I think.

Nine…good game with our U 21s to night. Some stars of the future on show. Cannot believe your keeper is under 21!!! He saved you to night or maybe City poor finishers
Some of the tackles were excellent from both teams._____________________________

Every team needs a Plan B Nil. Style of play comes and go and teams figure it out.

Chuky…I understand Haaland went to the Harry Kane school to learn about scoring…he failed in the Diving section, Harry is still better!!1

Adlab…it does not even have to be a conspiracy theory. Noticed the Barca players did complain to Ref but not to strongly!!! makes you think…well it does to me. Charity game, huge gate, two great teams, entertaining match, game about even. Any Ref in any league would not have given a penalty for that but the event changed that. I have no doubt Haaland will be told not to try it in the EPL and I do not think he is a natural diver, prefers to stay on his feet and score I think….in all matter…I could be wrong as well. but I will not loose sleep over it

It was a blatant dive, no doubt about it but not much will be said, I think the game was always going to finish a draw one way or another cynic that I’m Haaland appeared to be having a good laugh about it afterward with Barca players…it will be different in a proper match of course

Adlab..one bad injury in dieting minutes. Thought Walker did well at CB
I think Phillips will recover but it was an unfortunate accident_____________________________

I can accept 3-3 Adlab, great experience for all the youngsters. Feel sorry about Mbette though, looks serious and only minutes to go. 91000…wow///for a friendly game. Played in good spirit by both teams

Sean…OK. but I was also referring to how I think the game will change this season not based on this one game. I have never liked using injuries for an excuse but as you say. attitude cover a lot of cracks. I still think you will be more than alright though!! Diaz and Salah your main threats, I like them both. Nunez..good to see a belligerent Striker but a fear a few Red cards may appear
The ageing midfield may not be up for the “press game” much longer and new blood needed
Just a view from the outside, we have issues as well_____________________________

It is true that Liverpool missed some key players, however, as with City at Newcastle, it is also an early warning sign to both clubs. The league will be more competitive this season. Players and styles will change. In my opinion consistency will win, to whatever team.Liverpool and City will have to get use to a new era I think, some really good exciting players out there now. For Utd, I think much will depend on how the new signings settle in, if they do they will be in the mix somewhere. I also think Jesus and Zinchenko will change Arsenal but cannot see Sterling doing it for Chelsea unless he gets players around him who know his strengths

Chuky…a question for you….have we lost our top spot with you as Moneybags 1 since Newcastle have more than we have now?? Good to see Spurs making an effort this season instead of thinking there first match against us last year, when you won, then thought your season was over

Just shows me , how fickle the fans and media can be over one match. The world appears to change. I am glad Utd got the win because they deserved it but Liverpool will be back on track next week. City play one of the least favourite teams and may well loose, like last time….at home as well.!!!!!! City do adapt well though so I am hoping far too early to talk about winning the league

That was some game of football, did not do my blood pressure must good. Tale of two halves, After 10 min, City switched off but credit to Newcastle and Eddie Howe for getting tactics right, well deserved 3-1 lead. Second half we finally got our act together. Draw was probably fair result for the game

The “fans” do need to be careful. Protest will not win them anything, the Glaziers will sell in their own time frame at some point. “Fans” also have no idea how to run a football club, it applies to any club not just Utd but could give a club more heartache than it deserves. Real supporters will back their club through thick and thin, been their done that and have the T shirts!!!! I am sure Utd will sort it out in time but they need a complete overall at the top in the meantime let the players know you are supporting them. maybe some players cannot handle the unsettling conditions. De Jong, if he comes, Casemiro, a good player, are not single handed going to change anything overnight
